The Feng family battle arena was at this moment covered by numerous pressures emanating from less to more powerful powerhouses in the soul and nascent soul realms.
Looking at the situation at hand, Feng Li was left speechless. Of all the possibilities he had imagined, this had never passed his mind at all. it was the scenario he had never imagine it could happen.
"Feng Ba, you have really decided to turn all the family elders against their own family patriarch. At first i knew your greed had no bounds. But now, i get it. You are beyond comprehension." Feng Tian said while shaking his head.
"Today marks the end of your reign as the family patriarch. It also marks the beginning of my supremacy as the new patriarch." The Feng family grand elder said with a lot of confidence.
"You are already so inclined to raising a coup to take over the family upper seat. Well that will depend if you are strong enough Feng Ba." Feng Tian said.
"Feng Tian, oh, Feng Tian, if you were brave enough as you feign yourself to be then you could just step down on your own accord and hand over your son to the Li family for his punishment since he murdered one of their elite disciples. If you do that, i can guarantee your safety and that of your wife and daughter. After all Feng Li is but not your biological son. Am i wrong?" The Feng family grand elder asked teasingly.
"What, Feng Li is not the Patriarch's son?"
"How is this even possible?"
An uproar was created amongst the crowd. Everyone in Emerald city has and had known that Feng Li was the rightful heir and son of the current family patriarch- Feng Tian. To suddenly claim that Feng Li was not the family's son, had created a lot of confusion amongst the crowd and the Feng family elders and elite disciples.
"Feng Ba, you can claim all sort of nonsense, today neither you or anyone else is going to harm a hair on my Feng'er." Feng Tian said without any fear but a face filled with determination to fight till his last breath of life.
"Not responding to my accusation shows clearly that i was right. Feng Li this outsider has never been a member of our family. You brought him in despite clearly being aware of this fact. This is an act of violation to the family's rules and teachings. Feng Tian, do you have any other words or explanation to prove me wrong and not punish you in accordance to the family rules?" Feng Ba said with determination.
"Feng Ba, how the great have fallen, uttering words to successfully expand the rift you have managed to create between me and the other elders. Whatever the case, Feng Li is mine and Fu Lin's son. You have no right whatsoever to give out any word in it." Feng Tian angrily responded.
"Feng Tian, i have lived to know no other honest and integral man but you. Are the accusations made against you true. If so then you do not deserve the seat." The Li family grand elder slowly said while shaking his head.
"It is not your place to judge me old Li. In any case, whether he is my biological so or not its not up to you to worry about. Feng Ba, are you so inclined into standing against me?" Feng Tian turned towards the Feng family grand elder and asked him with a serious expression.
"I will stand with the truth and if that means going against you then so be it." Feng Ba answered confidently.
Feng Tian was having a big panic inside as he had not expected that Feng Ba had suspected about his son's origin. Him asking was just a probe so as to find out whether or not his suspicions were true or not. Having received no answer of either affirmation or rejection, Feng Ba must have already concluded since he had a very clear understanding of the patriarch.
"The mighty Feng family has internal fights huh, how laughable. To think that even the patriarch of a first tier family will deceive all the elders with a boy that's not his own, how shameful." The Li family patriarch said slowly with a sarcastic tone.
"Old Li, to think that your ultimate goal is a team up with the Feng family grand elder, how shameful can you not be?" The Yang family patriarch slowly said as he walked slowly and stood next to Feng Tian.
Standing next to the Feng family patriarch clearly was a form of telling everyone on the arena that he Yang Xuan and his family are backing up the Feng family patriarch and not the whole family.
"Old Xuan, you should think clearly on this matter before making a decision don't you think?" The Li family patriarch advised with a clear warning towards Yang Xuan.
"When it comes to brothers Tiang, i really do not have to think twice Old Li!" Yang Xuan said with a smile hanging on his face.
"Very good." Saying this Old Li walked towards the Feng family grand elder and stood next to him with a confident demeanor written all over his face.
"Since it has come to this, today my Li family is left with no choice but to take into custody this Feng Li who has diabolically ended the life if one of us without care whatsoever. Anyone who blocks my way shall die." Turning to look and the Feng family grand elder he said, "Old Ba and you deal with Old Tian while i deal with Old Yang".
"Now every elder listen to me, suppress every elder who intends to assist the Feng family patriarch and Yang family patriarch, and i want everyone under the nascent soul realm to attack That brat Feng Li and capture him alive." Old Li slowly commanded.
With the fall of the Li family words several masters ranging from the seventh to the ninth level of the soul transformation realm master with sinister smiles started walking there way towards Feng Li. The look in their eyes was trying to communicate only one thing; 'All things are ants.'
"Brat, looks like you have all over sudden turned into a fat sheep. (chuckle)" A sarcastic voice sounded inside Feng Li's mind. The mysterious master located inside the Nine floor divine pagoda has developed a habit of teasing him every now and then.
The Feng family patriarch and the grand elder were now standing toe to toe against each other as everyone had their aura and momentum fully released. The Feng family patriarch was a peak fifth level while the Feng family grand elder was an early fifth level nascent soul realm master.
The gap between the two was small but taking in mind that the Grand elder was also a genius in his time, it was no issue him entangling the patriarch for some time to give way for the elders to capture Feng Li since the Yang family patriarch was currently up against the Li family patriarch who were not that distant in terms of strength.
Looking at the five elders walking towards him, Feng Li wore a serious expression reading himself ready to entangle the elders in a bloody battle. Just before he could make a move towards the elders, three figure stood before him with their aura fully released.
Fu Lin who was a first level nascent soul realm master, Feng Xu was an early seventh level soul transformation realm master and lastly was Feng Xue who was an early forth level soul transformation realm master.
A smile suddenly formed on Feng Li's face as he slowly walked his towards the three. " You don't have to worry i will handle them." He said with a smile as charged directly towards the group of elders.
Kill!
Even before the trio could respond, Feng Li was already a few inches away from an elder with a cultivation at the early seventh level soul transformation realm. With a fist that seem so normal he suddenly punched out directly towards the elders chest.
The space between the two suddenly crumbled as a whistling sound of a fist carrying force pierced through the air falling towards the elder. Not thinking, much the elder thrusted a blade that carried a piercing feeling with some slight blade intent intending to meet head on with Feng Li's bear fist.
Boom!
A rumbling sound was heard as the fist and the blade met mid air, sounds of blade twisting was heard and then followed by the sound of a metal breaking.
Rumble!
The elder felt a very strong and gigantic force spreading through his fore limb as his body swayed and little did he know he was banged flying as his chest bones were all crashed into powder.
All this seems to have been long but the attack up to the point where the elder flew out in the air happened in a matter of not less than ten seconds.
Looking at the scene that had unfolded in front of them, all the elders took a step back as fear was written all over there faces. For one to defeat a seventh level soul transformation realm master and even as easy as pinching a fly, not even a late 8th level soul transformation realm master can pull.
"My brother is awesome." Feng Xu looked at his brother's back facing her and slowly exclaimed.
Just as everyone was in awe of Feng Li's strength a a powerful aura had locked onto Feng Li and a powerful attack begun descending onto him. Judging from the power in that attack, it was the attack from a mid third level nascent soul realm master.
Sensing the attack drawing towards him, Feng was caught off guard as he turned his body towards the source of the attack.
"Run son." Fu Lin scream as she intended to run and shield him from the incoming attack.
