Hearing this, Feng Li was really stunned. Having an old freak as his servant was a really a shocking turn of events to him. Since he met the mysterious spirit artefact voice, he had considered it as his senior never once had he thought that things would turn this way. Still he shook his head with a smile hanging on his face as he slowly said. "Senior if that is the tradition then I have the utmost say in this right?"
"that's correct you are the final verdict in here as far as you are its master." The mysterious voce said.
"since that is the case I will not take you as my servant not for a second for you are my senior." Feng Li said in a determined tone.
"he he he…. The mysterious voice laughed for a very long time before finally stopping. "Brat this old me adores your personality and am very pleased that you could be this artefact master since that is the case you can just treat me as your guardian what do you say?" the old man helplessly suggested.
"No problem senior I guess we have reached to an agreement." Feng Li said happily.
"Brat, even though I am unable to fully pin point what exactly is happening with your dantian, I can as well tell you two news. One good and the other bad." The voice resounded.
"Iam all ears senior." Feng Li responded while adjusting himself in a way to show that he truly wanted to hear what the voice had to say.
"The good news is that, the so called decalight beasts you claim seems to be one with your dantian and are completely hidden from me. But that's not what is interesting, what is more interesting is the fact that it's not that the energy Qi you absorb is disappearing but it's just that your dantian is a bottomless abyss which even I cannot ascertain its mysteriousness. However, with this trait boy, you won't experience any harm as you could absorb any form of energy and use it as a cultivation resource." The mysterious voice echoed inside Feng Li's ears.
Continuing the mysterious voice did not give Feng Li any tie to respond as it said, "whoever, the bad news is that you will require a large amount of cultivation resources for your Qi cultivation progresses." Finally, the voice quieted down.
"That is going to be troublesome but so what, as long as I can cultivate have no further regrets." Feng Li said with a smile on his face. He quickly adjusted his moods and closed his eyes and soon a small heaven appeared above his head as it continued to spin as it devoured all the energies around him at a frightening speed. The energy entered his body. Reaching his meridians, the energy started transforming into a golden fluid as it spanned moving towards his dantian. As soon as it reached the dantian the seemingly slumbering decalight beasts soon roared loudly as it happily started absorbing the golden essence fluid. This process continued for a whole day before it finally began subsiding slowly until it all died down.
"What a greedy dantian." Feng Li opened his eyes as he sighed as he failed to make a breakthrough as it seemed to be a far journey for him.
Feng Li was really helpless with his condition as he was sure that his peers who took the talent measuring ceremony together with him have already stepped into the first level soul transformation and some even are nearing the peak of it. However, thinking of how mysterious his background was, he couldn't help but shake his mind as he pushed all these thoughts away and stood up as he exited the nine floor pagoda.
Feng Li appeared on his bed inside his courtyard. Stepping on the floor he quickly walked to the window only to discover that it was already morning of the next day. Looking at his body, he couldn't help but shake his head as he could feel a stench coming from it. He immediately went and took a shower and went straight to the dining hall. Reaching the dining hall, he spotted his family sited on their respective seats as only his seat was empty.
"Feng'er, you are here, your family has been sick worried that something had happened to you since we have not seen you step out of your room for these few days." Fu Lin said as she stood up and helped Feng Li take his sit.
"I have been alright mom I was just getting used to the situation." Feng Li said with a smile on his face.
Seeing a smile hanging on Feng Li's face, a bitter smile formed on Feng Tian as he looked at his son a shook his head and said. "Feng'er have some food everything will soon be fine."
"yes father."
Hearing the response from Feng Li, all of them smiled as they continued eating their breakfast. The rest of the time was peaceful and soon the meal was over and Feng Li stood up and left the hall exiting the building to the fields of the Feng family. Walking along the path, he could feel a lot of strange gazes. Most of the gazes were filled with mocking and disdain as though they were looking at a useless fool. Ignoring those gazes, he slowly moved as he headed to a location where no more people could be spotted.
After some few minutes of walking, he soon arrived at the great river that flowed via the Feng family lower area where no people went to train.
Arriving here he could feel that the Qi here was a little bit unstable. He couldn't understand the course but he could understand that it was due to this unstable Qi that no one came here to train.
Following the river by its banks, he finally reached at place where he could somehow hear a sound that were that of a female coming from afar. Curiously, he quickly ran over to the direction where the voice was emanating from. Soon in front of him appeared a large water fall as water was pouring down heavily. A narrow path was seen connecting to the water fall. But what caught Feng Li's attention was not the path but the silhouette that stood still under the waterfall while large amount of water poured on her petite body but her body stood still on her feet.
Feng Li walked through the path and arrived at a closer proximity in order to take a closer look at the girl. Soon the face of a little girl appeared in front of him as a name came into his mouth.
"Feng Xue."
Seeing that it was the little girl who managed to come out with best results at the talent measuring ceremony after him, he was really stunned to find out that she was giving herself a hellish training under the waterfall. He stood still and watched the girl continue with her training without disturbing her at all for he knew that everyone required a peaceful environment to train in.
As though sensing that she was being watched, Feng Xue opened hr eyes as a purple light passed through them as she was a little shocked that someone came to this place after so many days of training.
Coming closer to the intruder, Feng Xue was stunned for she did not expect to see the young man in front. She exclaimed. "Young master."
"It's ok there is no need for such formalities, it's not that you don't know my condition of being a cripple." Feng Li said with a smile on his face.
"Cripple or not you are still young master I my heart." The girl said with a determined expression.
Feng Li was rendered speechless as he could see a lot of sincerity and respect on the girl's face as she looked at him straight on his face. "From the looks of things the Qi in this place seem to be a bit unstable right?"
"In deed the Qi in this place is unstable but iam using this unstable environment to bring out my body's potential and strengthen it to a higher degree."
"That is indeed so genius of you. I like that, can I join you." Feng Li suddenly asked.
"This…but young master with your situati...
"Don't put so much worry I can handle this." Before the girl could caution him he interjected her with an assuring smile. "Besides you can just save me if I face problems he he."
"Ok let's get there then." Feng Xue helplessly said.
On reaching the waterfall Feng Xue quickly activated her Qi as it enveloped both her and Feng Li. Sensing the Qi from Feng Xue, Feng Li was surprised to discover that it was already that of level two soul transformation realm. Feng Li was surprised by the speed at which this girl is moving with.
Soon the two stood under the waterfall as heavy water started reigning heavily on the Qi enveloping the two. As time went by Feng Xue started frowning as she clenched her teeth as she increased the strength of her shield as she turned to face Feng Li and said. "Young master something seems off, the water has doubled from the normal and the size of the waterfall has enlarged I can't hold on any longer let's move out. After saying this she quickly grabbed Feng Li and ran out of the water fall to a very large distance as she gazed at the waterfall.
"what a close catch." Feng Xue breathed out a foul air as she turned to look at the smiling Feng Li.
"Why are you smiling about." Confused, Feng Xue asked Feng Li.
"Iam just happy to have experienced all these. By the way you are pretty strong." Feng Li said to her.
"I was lucky to train here and achieved my current achievements. But young master should not worry for i won't spare anyone who will dare speak ill about you under my watch." The girl sad to Feng Li with a smile.
Looking at the beautiful figure in front of him that swore to protect him, he couldn't help but smile while nodding at her.
