"Water!". Selena softly called for water and water droplets burst into the air. After scattering themselves into little pieces around Selena they stayed hanging and nothing falls to the ground. They look like crystal rain but not moving.
All the people was surprised when the water from their bottles flew in the air and became droplets that glisten under the ray of sun. They were amazed to see a lot of droplets just hanging in the air glistening. All the Shadow Claw's guests were all dumbfounded by the scene. They were all in gape. They all thought this is something magical but they don't know who was doing it.
Breeze who supposed to attack Selena was startled by the water burst. The water made her body wet and it irritates her. She landed on the ground and shook the water out of her fur. She was surprised when she noticed that all the droplets are not falling to the ground instead they are suspended in the air.
"What is going on here?". Curtis was stupefied by the situation. This is the first time he saw a phenomenon like this.
"Why is the water hanging in the air, aren't they supposed to drop to the ground?". Jack is asking his Alpha Gavin with confusion.
"Yes, they suppose to..... But why they're still in the air?". Gavin also questioned his Beta. He was very puzzled and amazed.
"Is she a witch?". Scott Hunter of Stone Moon Pack asked Luke directly. He already knew Selena did what they are seeing right now.
"Who?". Luke knows who was Scott is referring to but he played ignorant to his question.
"Your mate, is she a witch?". Scott asked him again directly.
"No of course not.... Selena is an ordinary human!". Luke was irritated by Scott's question. 'With a great ability'. Words Luke wants to add but decided not to. He just saw Scott nod while tapping his chin.
Like everybody else Luke was at lost by the scene and can't explain what is happening. He also suspect that Selena had something to do with it but he just keep his opinion to himself until Scott asked him a question. He knows Selena have an ability but he don't know how many are they. Though Luke find the scene very extraordinary and interesting he still feels worried about his mate.
"Well then... Maybe she's an elemental". Scott made an assumption. He knows things about witches but no witch can control the element of water only elementals can do that.
Luke's gaze shifted to Scott. "What is an elemental?". He asked with full of curiosity.
"I'll tell you later". Scott answered without looking at Luke's face. He was busy admiring the elemental prowess of Selena right now though he can sense Luke's gaze at him as if he can't wait for his answer. Scott just pointed his finger towards Selena to shift Luke's attention away from him and it did work.
Breeze ignored the water droplets that's still hanging in the air. Even though it lookes like diamonds that glisten under the sun she refused to appreciate them. She remind herself that she is in the middle of a challenge and her goal is to win and pledge her love to her new found mate. She needs to make Selena yield to take Luke's heart. Breeze tried to attack again.
Selena saw Breeze trying to attack her but she didn't budge and just stand where she is. She wanted to test her theory and Breeze is a good experimental mutt today.
"Water spears!". She whispered command all the droplets of water in the air and in a split second all those droplets became small crystal spears. She raised her hand and pointed to Breeze and all the spears turned towards her.
"Breeze stop!". Thunder shouted and ordered his sister to halt using his Aplha tone and all the people's attention shifted onto him. They thought he is breaking the law by ordering his sister to stop using his Alpha power.
Thunder was watching Selena's every movements and he saw how she waved her hand and pointed it to his sister. After that all the water droplets that became a small spears pointed themselves to Breeze. He assumed they will shoot themselves to her. He was alarmed and ordered his sister to stop. He knows Breeze is at her disadvantage and she will be in great danger, worst she might lose her life if she keeps on fighting Selena. He can't believed Selena has this great power of elements. He only heard of it before from his great grandfather. There was a legend of a first born Luna who was blessed by the power of elements thousands of years ago but her bloodline was cut by some unknown reason and today he is seeing an elemental person before his eyes. A person he just called Mate.
Breeze heard her brother's order but choose to ignore it. She decided to give Selena a death strike but before she could land a blow to her, she noticed all the water turned to small spears and the next thing she knew all of them are coming to her way.
Selena gave an order to her water spears to pierce Breeze's body but avoid all the essential parts. She only wants to teach Breeze a lesson but not to kill her. She remembered Lycandra's words and she believed her wolf.
All the crystal spears shot to Breeze she tried to dodge all of them but she failed. They're like more than a thousand spears that almost like a size of a small twig that pierced to her skin. Blood is gushing to every part of her body but to her surprised all her vital parts aren't damage as if those small spears are avoiding them intentionally. Breeze's healing ability became slow she can't heal all her wounds at the same time. Her energy depletes rapidly. Dodging the spears and healing herself at the same time took all her energy away. She ended up crashing to the ground, helpless.
"Yield now!". Selena said with a fierce look in her eyes.
"Breeze.... Yield now!..... You can't beat her she's an elemental!". Thunder worriedly shout out loud. He don't care what others may think. He only wants to save his sister.
Breeze's eyes grew wide in disbelief. She heard her brother saying that Selena is an elemental being. She remembered her grandfather told them stories about those powerful elemental wolves. But from what she heard Selena has no wolf. She was confused and hurt but still recalled her grandfather's words.
'The Light Moon Pack is a great ally of all elemental being. We swore our lives to them up to our children's children and we will never betray them or our life will perished in their hands'.
This was the first teaching they were taught before they could even walked. It is also a part of their law and as a daughter of the former Alpha of Light Moon Pack and the sister of the new Alpha she must obey and give respect to Selena.
Breeze shifted back to her normal form. She is naked and the only thing that covering her body is her thick long blonde her. The wounds on her skin is healing very slowly. She looked at Selena but there's no hostility in her eyes only rain of tears. She sat and bow down to Selena.
"I Breeze Raeford, yield and give respect to the future Luna of Shadow Claw".
Selena was taken aback. She didn't expect a great warrior like Breeze would yield like this. She thought they will just say the word yield and leave but the woman in front of her bowed humbly to her. Selena remembered what Thunder said he called her an elemental. She wondered what that means.
Luke and Thunder rushed towards Selena and Breeze.
Luke holds his mate and check for any injuries. "Are you alright my love". He asked her with full of affection.
Selena pouted and about to cry looking at her mate's loving eyes.
"What's wrong my love?". Luke asked worriedly as he looked at his mate's almost crying eyes. "Tell me baby, do you feel hurt anywhere?".
"Luke". Selena's teary eyes looking at her mate deeply. "I am very hungry!".
