Ryuchen got into his car, he didn't expect that Lyka will refused. But her refusal was useless because his decision was final.
He slowly realizing Lyka's behavior, the way she talks badly about Chloe, the way she lies to get his attention and the way she makes herself looks innocent. Why didn't he notice those things back then, why did he close his mind and blindly believed everything she said.
After he started his car, he noticed the blinking light of his phone inside his pants pocket indicating that someone was calling him. He took his phone and saw his assistant's name on the caller, only then did he remember that he had put his phone on silent mode when Lyka was calling him earlier. He immediately drove his car before answering the call.
His heart beat as fast as the speed of his car, at that moment, he knew that his wife was already awake in the hospital.
"Mr. President--."
"Is my wife awake?"
"Mr. President, Ms. Chloe has left the hospital."
"WHAT!?"
His assistant immediately met him in front of the hospital when he arrived, he looks anxious, perhaps because of what had happened.
"Why did she leave all of a sudden?" he asked.
Ryuchen knew that it was not his assistant's fault, after he talked to him earlier on the phone, he saw that he had been calling him for more than half an hour. He had no one to blame but himself, because of his negligence he didn't notice his calls.
"When Sir Jason arrived, Ms. Chloe suddenly woke up and decided to leave."
Ms. Chloe, again?
Ryuchen face darkened when he heard what he said, but his assistant continued to talk as if there was nothing wrong with what he said.
"I tried to stop them and said to wait for you to come back, but Ms. Chloe insisted and said that you will not get mad even if she leaves the hospital. I even call you several times while telling them to stay but you didn't answered."
"Do you want to died, Robin?" he was irritatingly.
"P-Pardon?" he exclaimed nervously.
His assistant knew Chloe, he even attended their secret wedding so it was impossible for him not to know that Chloe is his wife.
"Would you address your boss's wife just like that?"
Robin's face became pale, he got used to that calling and his boss didn't care about that matter before.
"Ahh... I'm sorry, Mr. President." he said and bowed his head. "It won't happen again."
Ryuchen just waved his hand and went back inside his car. Somehow, he was still relieved knowing that his wife was with Jason, he knew nothing bad will happen to her because Jason will protect her so he has nothing to worry about.
But it had been three days since Ryuchen last saw his wife and Jason wasn't answering his call either. He had no idea where they were, he even goes to Jason's apartment every day to talk and hoping to see his wife as well, but he never saw them there.
He was about to go insane, he starting to think badly, just like what Lyka told him back then that the two are lovers. He knew that was absurd and he trust Jason that he wouldn't do that, but he couldn't get that out of his mind especially now that he couldn't find them.
He was starting to blame his luck either, if he was able to go back in the past, why hasn't he gone back to time when Chloe's life wasn't miserable yet. Why didn't he go back to the time before they got married, so that he could correct everything that he did to her.
Ryuchen heard a soft knock that brought him back to earth.
"Come in."
He saw Janna entered his office, she is Jason's younger sister and his assistant.
"Brother Ryuchen, the project planning team has arrived in the conference room, the meeting will start within ten minutes."
"Okay."
He stood up from his seat and approached Janna, he has been asking her about Jason for two days but even she has no idea where her brother was.
"Janna..."
"Yes, Brother Ryuchen?"
"Did you heard any news about your brother?" he asked.
She shook her head.
"I didn't even see him when he visits our house."
"What about his apartment, did you asked if he already left his apartment?"
"The owner of the building said that he didn't received any notice from his apartment yet, so he probably still living there. I will call him again after the meeting to ask where he is staying."
"No, just asked him to meet you."
"Okay... but Brother Ryuchen, did you two fight?"
"We're not fighting." he answered with a smile. "We just have some misunderstanding, that's why your brother doesn't want to talk to me."
"Fix it right away."
"Of course."

Meanwhile, Chloe went back to their villa.
"Sir, can you please wait for me here?" she asked the taxi driver. "I'm just going to get some stuff, it won't be long."
"Sure Ma'am." he answered. "Do you want me to come and help you?"
"No Sir, I can handle it. Thank you."
She entered the villa, it was still same as before. There are no maids to greet her when she returns home, as if she's not welcome there.
After she left the hospital three days ago, Jason offered her to stay in his newly build villa. She refused his offer at first, but when he said to stay there for a meantime while he was looking for apartment that she could stay, she couldn't do anything but to agree.
She didn't want to go back to her parent's mansion either because that's where Lyka's parents stay while her parents was away, she knew her Uncle would tell his parents that she had returned to the mansion. She didn't want them to worry about her, and she was sure that they would ask Ryuchen what happened either.
She and Jason found an apartment yesterday, and the landlord allowed her to stay there and rent it for a month before her parents vacation in the country, so she went to their villa to take all her important belongings.
While she was busy packing her stuff, she suddenly heard a noise coming from outside her room. She froze for a moment, but she was immediately felt relieved when she realized that it wasn't Ryuchen because of the sudden laughter she heard from outside.
Chloe didn't know why something seemed to urge her to go outside of her room to take a look at what was happening, she saw three maids talking happily in the living room downstairs and Lyka was laughing in front of them. They seems to have a good relationship, and she was also able to enter their villa freely even though Ryuchen wasn't there.
She was about to go back to her room when she heard someone called her name from downstairs, she turned and saw Lyka smiling meaningfully at her.
"Cousin, it's been a while since we last saw each other..."
She just raised her right eyebrow in response.
"How are you now, Chloe?" she added.
"You're so kind, Madam." one of the maid said, admiring Lyka. "You are still talking to the person who kidnapped you."
"She still has the nerve to come back here in the villa after what she did to you Madam, so shameless!" one of the maid added.
"If that thing happened to me, I would torture her to death." one more maid said angrily.
She smiled bitterly.
The maids knows what happened to Lyka, but they didn't know what happened to her and what really happened. She was the victim of that kidnapping and she knew that Lyka was the one behind it. She was tortured and almost got rape by the kidnappers, but in the end she was blamed for a crime she did not commit.
Chloe sighed, she just let them think what they want and went back inside her room, she had to hurry because the taxi driver was waiting outside.
After arranging her belongings, she went outside her room to leave. Chloe was having trouble going down the stairs because she was carrying a heavy suitcase when she heard laughter coming from the living room.
"You finally thought of leaving!" the maid said while laughing.
"Looks like you finally know your place in the villa, oh I forgot! You didn't have a place here in the villa in the first place!"
Chloe didn't answer and just continued her way down the stairs while they're still laughing.
"What are you doing, guys?" Lyka asked with a laugh. "Help her, so that she can leave immediately."
"Madam, we don't want to get our hands dirty." the maid said while grinning then crossed her arms. "We know she can handle it by herself."
"How dare you say those words!"
The three maids suddenly stopped from laughing loudly when they heard someone shout, even Chloe was surprised. When she turned to find out who it was, she saw the butler standing near the hallway, there's a trace of anger on his face.
"I can hear you all the way to Young Master's study!" the butler added.
She saw the pale faces of the maids when she looked back at them, she smirked because of the sight.
"Young Madam, why are you carrying a suitcase?" the butler asked her politely as he approached her. "Are you going somewhere?"
She couldn't answer because she heard Lyka suddenly speak.
"Mr. Edward, Chloe is leaving." she said gently to the butler. "I will order the maids to--."
"Ms. Lyka..." the butler said with a poker face. "I'm not asking you anything, so don't interrupt in our conversation."
Chloe heard Lyka gasped in shock, she also noticed the three maids covered their mouth while their eyes widened.
She wasn't close to the butler because he was originally staying on the Ajero's mansion and he was just visiting the villa time to time to check if there was something Ryuchen's needs.
"...And you also have no right to order the maids here because you are not the mistress of this villa." he said firmly.
It's been a few days since Edward, the butler, noticed that his Young master was anxious since he came to the villa. He kept calling his friend Jason because he wants to asked him about his wife, but his friend never answered his calls. He saw the rapid change in his Young master's behavior when it comes to his wife, as if he was ready to give all his attention now to her.
"And you maids..." the three maids flinched at the same time when the butler called them. "Everything you said and did today will reach Young master, for now I will lock you up in your rooms until he returns."
"No wait, please Mr. Edward..."
"Mr. Edward, I'm sorry. It will never happen again..."
"I need this job, Mr. Edward..."
The three maids begged the butler, they even ran and knelt in from of him.
Chloe sighed while looking at the three maids, why do they have to say those kind of words in the first place, if in the end they will just kneel down and beg. Where are the three brave maids from earlier, who seemed to have nothing to fear.
"You three should apologized to Young Madam, not with me." she heard the butler said.
The three maids turned to her, they started to apologize and begged her but she couldn't even look at them let alone forgive them. The damage has been done, they insulted and humiliate her even though she didn't do anything to them.
Chloe turned to Lyka who was just standing behind the butler, she didn't seem to know what to do.
"Why don't you help your maids, Madam?" she mocked her. "They helped you earlier, didn't they?"
She chuckled when she saw Lyka's face quickly turn red with anger, earlier they couldn't stop laughing at her, but why did it seem to be the other way around now.
They suddenly heard a soft knock from the door that caught their attention, her eyes widened when she saw the taxi driver standing in front of the open door.
"Is everything's all right, Ma'am?" the driver asked politely.
Chloe immediately ran towards him and apologized, the driver just smiled at her and took the suitcase she was holding and carried it to his taxi. She followed the driver and ignored the butler who was trying to stop her from leaving.
