Chapter 24 - Chapter 20: Revival

Chapter 20: Revival

Author: Geraint

One corpse in the middle moved, pulling off the cloth from its head. What was revealed left us stunned—a beautiful girl with flawless features and childlike cuteness. She had long blonde hair with neat bangs parted in the middle, and her blue eyes shone like bright jewels in the sunlight. I was mesmerized by her appearance—until I realized she looked exactly identical to Yuuka. The other guys had almost the same reaction when she sat up, and the cloth covering her chest slipped off.

"Eh?"

We all froze at the sight of a completely flat chest—and a body that looked a little too masculine.

That's when we realized she was actually a guy.

Yuuka, standing right behind me, was completely shocked.

"What's that?" She pointed at the guy, who had a face exactly like hers.

The guy looked around, confused.

Yuuka quickly grabbed me by the collar and shook me.

"What's the meaning of this?! Why does he look like me, Onii-sama?!" she demanded.

"Wait! I-I don't know! I just followed the description your classmates gave me! His face was already unrecognizable when they found his body, so I asked the guys from your class for help!"

One by one, the other revived corpses stirred, unveiling themselves from the cloth.

"What?"

"I'm alive!"

"Look! Everyone is here!"

Most of them were guys who'd been killed after going against the leader of the other group.

"Did I get reincarnated? Finally! My time for revenge has come! The Gods have chosen me! I'll make those bastards bow down before me and beg for mercy for what they did! Oh, and I won't forget to build a harem and suck the huge tits of every beautiful girl I meet. Hehehe..."

One of them was having a very lively daydream, his delusional mumbling loud enough for me to hear clearly.

He pulled off the cloth covering his head, revealing the appearance of a petite girl with a black bob-cut and dark eyes. Then, with fiery enthusiasm, he spoke to me:

"God! Please give me an OP cheat that makes me the strongest in the world without a single effort—Huh?"

He froze as he realized everyone was staring at him, confused by his identity since I had completely changed his appearance. His face went pale. This wasn't the place he had imagined. Embarrassment set in.

I walked towards him, reciting the famous lines from a game.

"Hey, you. You're finally awake. You were trying to cross the border, right? Walked right into that Imperial ambush, same as us—"

"NOOO! Not those lines!" he freaked out, clutching his head.

The cloth covering his chest slipped off, and he noticed something very wrong. He immediately looked down.

"What? No! It's gone!"

He stiffly turned towards me, his mouth hanging open.

"Sorry, but your body was completely crushed when that boulder rolled over you. I had to replace everything, but I ran out of male flesh. I had no choice but to use female parts—including the private ones. Please, live as a girl from now on!" I bowed my head in apology.

Hearing that, he was utterly shocked and fainted on the spot.

Behind me, Yuuka was chasing after the guys who'd given me the wrong descriptions.

"Come here, you bastards! I'll rip you to shreds!"

She was furious.

"We're sorry! We didn't know it was that serious!" the guys screamed, running away in fear.

The girl who had fought Yuuka earlier approached me, bringing along the guy who now looked like Yuuka.

"What have you done to my boyfriend?" she asked with teary eyes.

"Wait! He's your boyfriend?"

I was surprised.

"Yeah! Of all people, why did he have to end up looking like her?"

"Well... I can't do anything about it now. He's already revived." I shrugged.

"Then it's better if I break up with him! I can't stand looking at his face!" she snapped, glaring at me.

"Yeah, do it. That's actually another good decision." I grinned, sick of her spoiled personality. Instead of improving herself, she only ever complained about others.

Leaning closer, I whispered in her ear.

"Good luck raising that child in your tummy alone."

Her face turned pale.

"You should be grateful. After what you did to Yuuka this morning, did you think I'd forgive you just like that? Remember—I'm a demon. I'm only keeping you all alive out of consideration for her and the others. Don't forget that."

I walked past her without another glance.

Among the other revived, Lilith was tightly hugging someone while crying, which made me smile. Before I noticed, Yuuka was nowhere to be seen. Alarmed, I began looking everywhere for her.

"Shiina, have you seen Yuuka?" I asked. She looked worried.

"I don't know. She just suddenly disappeared when I looked away," she answered.

"Alright. Stay here with the others. I'll look for her."

I immediately left.

After several minutes of searching, I was still lost. With no other choice, I decided to use the Sacred Relics to track her. Yuuka possessed one—the mystical eye I gave her after that accident with Mom. I often used it to find her in crowded places.

Closing my eyes, I sensed two Sacred Relics. One was overwhelmingly powerful—Fuyumi's. The other was Yuuka's. I finally located her near the river. Jumping from tree to tree, I headed straight toward her.

She was sitting alone on a rock, tossing pebbles into the water.

"Yuuka."

I approached her from behind and sat beside her.

"Hmph!"

She turned away, sulking.

"Are you still mad?"

"You didn't even try to defend me or get angry when they attacked me this morning," she pouted.

"Yeah, I'm sorry."

She glanced at me with squinted eyes.

"Is that all you can say, Onii-sama?"

"How could I argue with them? You're just too gorgeous—that's why they envy you. What do you want me to say? Yuuka is the most beautiful, so know your place, peasants? I'd honestly feel worse for them."

"You and your flattering, Onii-sama. Do you think that works on me?"

She suddenly pinched my cheek.

"Well, you might be sick of it by now, since you hear it all the time."

"Kiss me."

"Huh?"

She gave me a serious look.

"If you want me to forgive you, then kiss me."

I sighed.

"Alright."

Leaning forward without hesitation, I pressed my lips against hers.

An hours later, after Seir returned with Yuuka to camp, he went straight to the glamping tent and slept next to Fuyumi who's already taking a nap. Seeing this, Yuuka decided to join him and took a nap on his other side since today was a rough day for her after getting to a catfight.

"Eh..."

Noticing Ayaka watching them, she got annoyed.

"Ayaka, if you have nothing to do, just lie down here and take a nap."

"Okay."

She came in and lie down beside Yuuka.

Watching their tent was the disaster witches, five of them gathered together after Marah, the witch of temperance joined them.

"Hehe... Seir has grew up into such attractive guy. Maybe, I could ask him to sleep with me tonight? I will make him a man myself." Marah spoke with lewd tone and licked her lips.

Her fellow demon witches frowned at her.

"You are too old for that, Marah. Remember, you're a 690 years old vampire." Naamah said, looking displeased.

"That's right. You're already an ancient person." Hannya followed.

"I won't let you get near Seir-sama again." Lilith gave her an intense stare.

"Ufufu~ Unfortunately, Seir has already been surrounded with girl. We'll see how things will end." Hecate chuckled.

"Hey! I still look as fresh as 17 years old girl! Also, I'm not that old compare to Lamia or Eisheth!" Marah retorted.

"Well, Eisheth is a 1200 years old Chimera while Lamia is a 5000 years old Sea serpent. Our life span is short compared to the three of you." Naamah remembered.

After a short silence, Marah looked around the camp and see the humans doing their own thing.

"Anyway. Now that I'm here, what are we going to do next?" Marah asked.

Naamah sighed then she answered.

"Nothing yet."

"Eh."

Marah looked so disappointed.

"Seir-sama told us that he'll come up something tomorrow." Naamah explained.

"Seriously? Is it me or Seir has become lazy? He was nothing like that in the past." - Marah

"Yeah. He is quite tamed now, especially by those two human girls who are always around him. He is also fond of that scary little hero." Hannya followed.

"I don't really see any problems. I prefer the current him now. He is much gentler. " -Hecate

"That's because you're one of those sky people called Angels!" Marah yelled.

After a moment of pause, they all glanced at Lilith who didn't join the conversation and the one who came to another world with Seir and accompany him for more than four years.

"Do you have anything to say, Lilith?" Hannya wants her to say something.

"Yeah, you've been with Seir in another world."-Marah

Lilith thought about it a little before she answered them.

"Well, for me... Seir-sama is still the same ever. Ruthless to his enemies but considerate and caring to those people who are close to him. His actions in the past was just driven by revenge but now that goal has been already achieved, he has left with nothing to do and no motivation at all. All he did in Japan for this past 4 years is to study about the world, do house chores and pamper his little sister. He shut himself at home most of the time and rarely go outside. Instead, he lie down on the couch and watch anime or read manga while taking care of his little sister. Unlike here, that world is peaceful and he ended up becoming a sluggard which dulled his mind. Right now, as you can see... Seir-sama is starting to get homesickness and has been restless after returning here in his supposed to be home world."

Hearing that, they all became disappointed with Seir's change.

"Let's just give him some time. Maybe, he can return back to how he was supposed to be." Naamah tried to cheer up the group.

"At his current state, he isn't qualified to rule the Demon Realm."- Marah

"Unification of the different factions will be not possible. At this rate, demon realm will be really..." Hecate frowned.

"He doesn't even have any motivation at all. Rather, he have gotten even weaker."-Hannya

"Umm... Lilith?"-Riko

Two humans approached their group, looking anxiously. It was Kaho and Riko.

"Kaho-senpai, Riko? Do you need something?" Lilith asked.

"We just want to talk with you about something." Riko gave herself courage and spoke despite her fear.

Hannya looked very displeased as she stood up and glared at the two human girls in front of them.

"If these humans are the reason that Boss Seir got weakened..."

The other disaster witches are surprised with her sudden action.

"Should it be better if we just slaughter them all?"

"Hannya, don't--" -Naamah

Hannya suddenly froze and held her own neck.

"ARGH!" she fell on her knees, unable to breath.

She tried to struggle but it was futile.

A sudden surge of demonic power enveloped them, making others felt uncomfortable.

"AAAH!"

Hannya crushed her head on the ground.

They all sensed the intense stare coming from the clamping tent then immediately kneeled down with one knee, bowing their head facing the tent.

Hannya collapsed down, panting after she finally able to breath. She grinned in excitement.

"Haha! My bad, Boss Seir. To think you are hiding this kind of terrifying power. I can't even sense it."

The others are sweating profusely on the face and unable to speak.

Moments later, the overwhelming demonic power faded and the pressure disappeared. They can finally breathe in relief.

"What are you doing, Hannya?! You nearly got us killed!" Naamah scolded her.

"Sorry, my bad. I just can't sense Boss Seir's demonic power so I got worried." Hannya awkwardly laughed.

"Still... The throne of Demon King is now in his possession. Regardless of his behavior, he is still the True Demon King whenever he goes."-Naamah

"Demon King?"-Kaho

Before they realized, Kaho and Riko was listening to the their conversation the whole time which widened their eyes.

The next day,

Seir woke up late as he walked out of the glamping tent and stretched his arms. He felt energized after finally having a good night's sleep. Looking around, he saw Kaho heading into the forest alone while carrying her training hakama and bamboo sword. He thought of joining her training, so he went to approach her from behind.

"Kaho-san!"

He was about to pat her on the shoulder when she suddenly moved away from him.

"Huh?"

Surprised by her quick reaction, he grew confused when he saw her face turn pale, as if she were afraid of him.

"Yuu-kun?! Don't surprise me like that! I thought I was being attacked by an enemy!" she freaked out.

"What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost. Also, no one will attack you here. I have my friends patrolling the area."

Seir stepped closer, but Kaho kept moving back.

"Strange. Why are you moving away, Kaho-san?"

"It's nothing, really."

Kaho forced a smile.

"I'll join you for training."

"No, I want to train alone today. Maybe next time."

She quickly ran away, leaving Seir even more confused.

"What's wrong with her today?"

He sighed, turned around, and spotted Riko walking with her friends, carrying towels. They seemed to be heading to the nearby river to wash their faces.

Seeing her chatting happily, he raised his hand and greeted her.

"Good morning, Riko!"

When Riko noticed him, her smile froze, and her face turned pale.

"Riko?"

Seir noticed she had the same reaction as Kaho. Deciding to clear things up, he approached her.

But as he got closer, Riko grabbed her friends and pulled them away, running off quickly.

"I'm sorry, Seir-kun!"

Seir's cheek twitched, realizing he was being avoided for no reason.

He immediately rushed back to the tent and found Yuuka and Shiina just waking up and yawning. He stared at them, waiting to see their reactions.

After a short silence, Yuuka looked disappointed.

"What is it, Onii-sama? Why are you just staring at me? Aren't you going to do something?"

"Do what?"

"Huh? It's obvious. I'm talking about what lovers do in the morning. I'm waiting for my morning kiss!" Yuuka pouted.

"That's not important right now. You see, Kaho-san and Riko are suddenly avoiding me."

Yuuka just gave him a squinted look, saying nothing.

"Yuuka?"

Still no response.

"Fine."

Seir sighed again, then gave her a quick peck on the lips.

"Hehehe..."

Yuuka looked overjoyed, while Ayaka stood frozen beside her, eyes wide.

"What about you, Shiina?" Seir asked.

"Eh?!" Ayaka blushed hard, unable to respond.

Knowing her, Seir didn't hesitate. He gave her a quick peck on the lips too. The stimulation was too much—she blushed furiously and fainted on the spot.

"Satisfied now?"

"Yes." Yuuka smiled, then remembered something. "Oh, about Kaho-senpai and Riko... It seems your subordinates slipped up. Word about your identity as the Demon King has spread like wildfire among the group. Lilith told me."

"Those idiots!" Seir growled in frustration.

"But I don't think that's the real problem. You've always self-proclaimed to us that you're the True Demon King, but we just shrugged it off. It seems someone's been spreading nastier rumors—like how the Demon King kidnaps beautiful young virgins and forces them to mate with him."

"What?!" Seir was shocked.

"But we know you're not that kind of person. Even when Ayaka and I stripped in front of you, you didn't dare touch us in bed," Yuuka said, almost disappointed.

"Don't do that again. If you catch a cold, Fuyumi might get sick."

"Shut up!"

Both Yuuka and Ayaka pinched his cheeks, annoyed.

"Siscon!"

"Wait!" Seir suddenly remembered something. "Someone knows about Demon Kings... Oh, there is one here!"

He rushed to the next tent and dragged someone out.

"It was you, Princess Irina!"

"KYAAAAH! HELP ME!"

Princess Irina screamed as Seir pulled her out, crying.

"You cheeky princess. What have I ever done to deserve this? Guess I'll have to punish you."

"Everyone! Please help me! He's going to eat me!" she cried, clinging to the grass.

"Shut up! I've tolerated your actions lately, but this time you crossed the line! You gossip too much with Riko and got infected by her nonsense!" Seir continued to drag her.

"NOOO!"

Saeko rushed over, grabbing Seir from behind and trying her best to stop him.

"Seir, what are you doing? Let go of her immediately!"

"No! Not until this girl learns her lesson! She needs some spanking to shut her bad mouth!"

Seir raised his hand, aiming at the princess's butt.

"No! I wasn't talking about you—I meant the current Demon King! We heard he's kidnapping women from different races and forcing them to be his concubines!"

"Oh, you mean my brother, Prince Eligor? Yeah, he's been shameless since birth. Then why are Kaho-san and Riko avoiding me this morning?"

"I don't know! Why don't you ask them yourself?"

"Okay."

Seir finally released Irina.

Meanwhile,

Kaho was in the middle of intense training, sitting under a waterfall and meditating. She shivered from the cold but endured it. Suddenly, Seir appeared right in front of her face, whispering.

"Kaho-san."

Kaho opened her eyes and screamed at the top of her lungs.

"KYAAAAH!!!"

Water splashed into her mouth, and she swallowed some by accident.

"Ugh!"

She stumbled out of the water, coughing hard.

"What's wrong with you, Seir?! Disrupting me like that!"

Seir said nothing, only staring at her.

Kaho sighed, holding her head as she realized what he wanted.

"Yuu-kun, what do you want?"

"Why were you avoiding me earlier?" Seir asked in a serious tone.

"That's..." Kaho's face paled again, and she looked away. "It's nothing... You're just overthinking things."

"Was it about me being the Demon King of this world?"

She glanced at him briefly but remained silent.

Seir smiled.

"Kaho-san, are you afraid of me?"

"Huh? Who's afraid of you? I can take you on anytime!" Kaho retorted.

"Then why are you chickening out?"

"I'm not!"

"What is it then?" Seir stared straight into her eyes, making them widen.

"...Even though we're engaged, you're having relationships with other girls. I thought Yuuka and Ayaka were just family." Kaho mumbled, teary-eyed.

"I see... Are you perhaps jealous?"

"I can't say I'm not."

Kaho looked down, sadness on her face.

Seir wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her close.

"Huh—"

He kissed her.

"Hmph!"

Kaho's eyes widened. She tried to push him away, but the suddenness overwhelmed her. Her face turned bright red as their lips parted.

"Want some more?"

"Shut it! That was my first time!"

Seir kissed her again.

"Hmph—!"

And again, a third time.

When they finally separated, Kaho's face was burning with embarrassment.

"You shameless pervert! How could you do that to me!" she yelled.

"But it felt so good. Didn't you feel the same?" Seir grinned.

"Shut up!"

Seir chuckled at her cute reaction, then turned to leave.

"Hehe. Later then, Kaho-san."

"Scumbag! Womanizer! Do you think you can get away with this?!" Kaho shouted furiously.

Seir glanced back at her with a smirk.

"I can... because I'm the Demon King."

"You..."

Her face turned beet red.

"Seir!!!"
