-4th September 6:43p.m.-
"Ughhh...I said that...but I don't know where to look for Last Order. I managed to find him because I found the information on a piece of paper on the ground..." The person who said this was a girl with blonde hair, wearing a white nurse outfit she got from A Certain Hospital. Her green eyes wandered around just as she too, was wandering around Academy City. How was she supposed to search for a missing person?
"Who is responsible for searching for missing children...?" She asked out loud and then a hand touched her shoulder. On instinct, she grabbed her knife and the hand and she looked back to see a girl with a Judgement armband above her elbow and a headband of flowers on her head.
"U-Ummm do you need any help?" Asked the Judgement officer who was terrified that a knife was being pointed at her.
"O-Oh, sorry." Ester apologises as she puts the knife back into her pocket. She pulls out a photo of Last Order inside her incubator and shows it to Uiharu and tells her,"Do you know where this girl is?"
"I can help you track her, if that's what you want."
"That would be great!" Ester's green eyes sparkled at the officer.
"But may I ask you something?"
"Sure."
"What's your relationship with that girl?"
"Hmmm...she's...like a little sister to me." Ester looks down as she wonders about all the things Last Order said and taught her. Though it was not much, Last Order reminded her of a certain friend who was dead. Last Order gave her the feeling of nostalgia. The feeling of being in a family again. She was very happy to have met Last Order and wanted to save her.
"Like? Hmm...okay. Follow me please."
-4th September 6:55p.m.-
Outside Sukunabikona Foods, supplement factory, Anti-Skill members were preparing to raid the place after finding where the hideout of D.A. is through the vehicle they drove when escaping with Last Order.
They were in the underground receiving bay of the whole place, where supplies of food are taken in. They strapped bombs at the entrance of the place.
"This is Assault Team 1. Commencing operation."
Three layers of riot shields stood behind the massive steel door, at least 20 rifleman stood behind those shields and Yomikawa was one of those wielding a shield. However, instead of holding a rifle, she had a pistol instead and was only wearing her vest, and not her helmet, alongside the other officers.
*BOOM!*
After the explosions went off, the officers charged right in. There was no lighting at all when they went in and the officers wielding the shields crouched down in place, ahead of them was a long hallway and the whole place was filled with pillars left and right. From the corners of the pillars in front of them, men from D.A. peeked their heads out, aiming their P90's, equipped with a long barrel and a scope for accuracy, at Anti-Skill.
Anti-Skill held their positions as they fired back, using the pillars as a shield as well.
"Damn it! How did Anti-Skill find us?! They can't comprehend our sublime ideas!"
After a few minutes of firing, they managed to pressurise D.A. without suffering any casualties on their side. D.A. was pushed back all the way into a large spacious area. D.A. lost many men as they were pushed back, due to the endless assault by Anti-Skill whose members outnumber them by tenfolds. They couldn't pierce through the riot shields, so the members of Anti-Skill used the riot shields as their wall as they shot the opponent in front of them.
At that point, the members of D.A. were using the cargos and trucks situated there for cover, whilst firing bullets in hopes of turning the tides of the battle around. However, their efforts were futile and they made a tactical retreat after smoking the area with a smoke grenade.
"Fall back! We have to regroup!" One of the D.A. soldiers shouted. At his command, all of the D.A. soldiers fell back whilst some of them continued firing as they walked backwards.
Anti-Skill saw their retreat and one of them shouted,"Move forward!" The members of Anti-Skill moved forward, riot shields first, followed by the riflemen.
"But still, I don't understand it. How could D.A. be from the same roots as Anti-Skill?" The person who asked this was an officer who had short ginger hair. The person to answer him was Yomikawa who stood behind him.
"They may be from the same roots as us, but they've become rotten already. D.A. is a group whose members have received disciplinary action for using dangerous methods of suppressing culprits of a crime."
"But why have D.A.'s sponsors abandoned them now?"
"I don't know. But maybe they too have seen how much of a double-edge sword D.A. can be?"
"Hmmm"
After even more firing, the whole place was filled with smoke and D.A. was pushed all the way to the back of the whole area, having to rely on mini stone barricades as cover whilst they try to kill off the members of Anti-Skill. However, it was not working, they knew it already, but they still tried as they wanted to implant their beliefs into the minds of every Anti-Skill member.
Anti-Skill used the trucks and cargos, which D.A. were previously using, to defend themselves from the bullets shot by D.A.
A D.A. member cursed at them while they were under fire,"You unruly mob! All you've got are numbers! Our theory of justice does not bend to numbers!"
Meanwhile behind that D.A. member, his ally was calling someone to report in on the situation they were facing. However, instead of sending backup, they gave a weird instruction.
"What?! Are you actually telling me to carry this to Chemistry Building 6 of Seiin High School without any reinforcements?!" He asked in an enraged tone. However, the voice on the other end persisted on forcing him to send the bag there.
"It's a vita component for a weapon that will turn the tide?"
The voice answered back and he took it into his head to process it for a while before answering,"Alright. We're using the Tarantula." For the second part of the sentence, he faced his men before saying it and they replied,"Affirmative."
With that, they proceeded further in, through the tunnel behind the barricades and disappeared from Anti-Skill's sight. When Anti-Skill realised that no gunfire had been exchanged, they were confused.
"They stopped fighting back. Did they run out of ammunition?"
One of the soldiers took a pair of binoculars to inspect the road ahead of them. What he saw was a cloud of smoke and dust and he told them,"Either way, we're not going to get anywhere like this. We can't let them get out into the city. We're moving in to hit them again."
With that, they pushed forward into the darkness even more. It was literal pitch black for them as they charged in like barbarians, breaking formation in the process. They turned on the flashlights equipped on their guns and tried scanning the area, but they found nothing on first glance.
However, when they looked closely, they saw a metallic object painted red, with 7 green eyes connected by black lines with one grey ball at the bottom of those green eyes, connected with 4 of the green eyes as well. When they noticed it, the green eyes lit up and the whole ground shook beneath them as it stood up on 6 legs. It had a circular feature of radius 10 metres.
The soldiers of Anti-Skill were shocked and one of them asked,"What is that? Heavy construction equipment? No, it isn't. Stand ready!"
The wheels beneath its legs started to spin as it turned its back against them and from the back, there was a minigun attached to it and soon after, a massacre ensued.
The minigun started to spin as well, and then the bullets were so heavy that it pierced through the riot shields and went through the soldiers while causing a small explosion on impact with the surroundings. Blood splattered all over the walls as the bullets were blindly shot everywhere. This was proven when the bullets flew past the soldiers' heads.
"Our shields can't defend against that! Fall back!"
Everyone from Anti-Skill fell back, those who made it out of that tunnel were considered lucky, while those who were shot by those bullets were never seen again. Yomikawa was one of the lucky few who made it out of there, alongside 10-15 more soldiers.
Yomikawa was in disbelief to see another large monster. First it was underground and now it was under a food supplement factory.
"They even have a monster like this?" Yomikawa said with fear in her voice. As much as her will is strong, she didn't want to face the same thing again and suffer many losses. It was a nightmare for her, however, the thought of that 'monster' being released into Academy City was even more scarier to her. So she mustered up her courage to face it again.
The Tarantula's wheels started to spin again and it did the same move again, ready to fire the minigun at them again.
"It's turning its back to us again! The ass-mounted gatling gun is firing!" One of the soldiers said.
"Can't we do something abut that gatling gun?!" The other soldier replied as they tried shooting the robot. However, it was all useless as the gun simply faced them and tore through their bodies, filling their bodies with holes big enough to put someone's head through.
As Yomikawa tried to think of a plan, she noticed a few black spots at the top corner of her eye. When she faced the top right side of the building, she saw three men wearing black masks and vests running across a long pathway, two men wielding P90's, while the other one lifted a black bag.
"Itou! Over there!" Yomikawa shouted as she points to the direction of the three guys. Itou quickly turned his head and saw them as well, immediately opening fire to catch them off guard. The three of them immediately ducked behind a 2 metre wall. Yomikawa wanted to use that opportunity to get up there and personally stop them herself, while also getting a vantage point against the Tarantula, so she shouted over to Itou,"Itou, up!"
Itou looked over his shoulders to see Yomikawa running to him. He nodded his head and he placed his riot shield and rifle against the wall and put his left hand underneath his right hand while kneeling down, and when Yomikawa came, she stepped on his hand and he threw her up. She did a jump that reached 5 metres high and landed behind the three soldiers from D.A.
"Where are you headed, out-of-season Santa?" Yomikawa taunts them as she raises her shield. The one holding the bag took out a pistol and aims it at Yomikawa. As sweat falls down from her forehead, she says,"Since I'm not dealing with children, I can give this my all!"
The other two guys fired their P90's at her, but thanks to her shield, she blocked every shot coming at her as she charged to the two of them and knocked them off the pathway, and back down into the area below them.
The last one pointed his gun at her and stupidly unloaded all of his bullets at her shield, as she catches her breath. Then...
*Click* *Click* *Click*
He had run out of bullets.
"Tch!" The D.A. soldier clicked his tongue as he dropped the bag on the ground to free up his other hand to reload his pistol. From the bag, a small arm and hand protruded out and Yomikawa couldn't believe it.
"A person!? You guys are despicable!" She shouted as she pulls her pistol out from her right pocket. She aims the gun at his arm and shot it, making him drop his weapon and his other hand dropped the clip of ammo on the ground. He writhed in agony on the ground as his arm covered his wound. Yomikawa looks at him and then back to the battlefield below to see the 'monster' still aimlessly shooting everything around it, hitting the trucks, but not enough to penetrate it.
"Damn it, the difference in our firepower is too significant!" Itou says. Then another officer took out his walkie talkie and said,"Where's our reinforcements?!"
However, instead of a rough sounding person on the other end, or at least an adult's voice that spoke through, it was something unexpected. The officer couldn't believe it. It was the voice of a kid on the other end.
"So that's what these are supposed to be."
"Who are you? What happened to my men?"
"They're all dead." The voice on the other end spoke.
He heard the radio cutting off on the other end and he knew it was bad news. If his men died, that means that whoever took them down had a firepower or strength strong enough to overpower them. Cases of kids going on massacres were rare, but it does happen, be it from a level 0 or an esper. These cases could happen. But of all times...
At the same time, the side of the 'monster' opened up to reveal a small grey slit. Then suddenly, a barrage of red disks came flying out of that slit. At first, they did not think much about it, however, once it reached them, they saw what devastation it could cause.
Attached to those disks were metal strings made up of iron and with the insane speed it went, the kinetic energy made it easier to cut through Anti-Skill's shields. The moment it made impact with their shields, it would be the last time anyone can see them as the strings cut through both the soldiers, and the shields while it continued spinning.
Their bodies were split into half, their brains, internal organs, everything inside them was cut into half as their organs dropped out of their bodies. Blood splattered the ground. It was a blood festival. Within 10 seconds, more than 3 quarters of Anti-Skill soldiers were gone, turned into a colour decoration for the strings. The tip of the strings were painted red, as disks continued spinning.
Yomikawa looked down, the fear arising within her again, the feeling of wanting to puke almost overcame her and she could only mutter,"This is hell..."
Suddenly, paper airplanes flew through the air with the disks. Was someone here to play? Did the kids stumble into here? Were they joking when they said that all of Anti-Skill reinforcements were dead? No one knew. But all they knew was that whoever made those paper airplanes must be a mastermind at hiding bombs, because when the paper airplanes touched the disks, or the strings, instead of being shredded by the fearsome kinetic energy and iron, the disks exploded alongside the airplanes.
Slowly, the paper airplanes took down the disks until there was nothing left but the 'monster' in the middle of the area, surrounded by three more paper airplanes.
"Paper airplanes? Someone's ability?" Itou mutters. When the remaining paper airplanes came into contact with the 'monster', a massive explosion occured and a cloud of smoke surrounded it. The explosion was so strong that it blew away everyone in the vicinity. Yomikawa ducked behind the barrier, alongside the D.A. soldier.
"What is going on?" Yomikawa asks as she peeks below.
The 'monster' was completely unharmed as it stood there on all 6 legs. After the smoke dissipated, there were two female figures standing in front of the 'monster' and two more female figures standing by the side. One of the girls standing in front of the 'monster' was short, about 140cm tall, with short light red hair that makes her look like a boy, the colour of her pupils matching with her hair. She wore a white flu mask with two dark crossed hands printed on it, which made her look like she was being silenced. She wore a short-sleeved pink shirt, maroon pants with black tights beneath it. She was carrying a backpack on her back.
The other one was a 'girl' who had long black hair that reached down to her thighs. 'She' wore a sailor school uniform and a black skirt, with 'her' black pupils matching the colour of her hair. 'She' was around 160cm tall.
One of the girls by the sidelines had purple hair, with purple pupils. Her hair slightly longer than the girl with red hair, with her hair going past her ears, the back of her hair touching the collar of her shirt, her fringe just going past her eyebrows. She wore a mix of a maid costume and a bunny costume, with thigh high socks, detached cuffs, a maid headband, and a bunny tail at the back. In addition, she has a tattoo of a skull beneath her left eye. Her most striking feature is her chest size. Her breasts could fit a F-size bra, her shirt barely containing them. She stands at about 155cm tall.
The girl beside her wore a loose square neck blouse and black spats. She had a belt located around her waist with small bags attached to the belt. She has on a large brown newsboy cap on her brown hair, with her hair poking out of both sides of her head. Her pupils are green in colour, the only one that does not have matching eye colours with her hair. Her height is around 155cm tall as well.
The two girls in front of the 'monster' looked as if they were talking, until the 'girl' with black hair looked at the 'monster' and then showed her tongue to it. On her tongue, there was a tattoo of a skull with horns and chains.
"They're going after their own men?" Yomikawa mutters. The D.A. officer with her touched the side of his ear, possibly using his earpiece to contact whoever was in the Tarantula.
"The Tarantula can only buy us 30 minutes. We need support, as per the original operation."
Suddenly, right after he said that, the Tarantula started moving its legs again, approaching the kids beneath its legs. Then, the wheels beneath the legs started to turn and then it was charging at the kids.
Before the kids got run over, the 'girl' with black hair put her left hand out and then, the wheels beneath the 'monster' came to a halt. Well, not really. It was still turning, however, it could not move away from its position no matter how much it struggled. Then, a voice came through the speakers,"Impossible! They stopped me?! Is that psychokinesis?! Even if it is, the Tarantula weighs 120 tons!"
The 'girl' with black hair simply yawned as the 'monster', which had murdered more than 50 people in one go, and in a span of less than 15 minutes at that, was being held back. The once devastating 'monster' was nothing but a play toy for them. It looked pitiful. Then 'she' replied back with,"It isn't psychokinesis, you see. My ability is control over frictional coefficients."
"So then, those explosions from earlier was you?!"
"Mm-hmm."
Then, without hesitation, the Tarantula proceeded to back off from them afterwards.
The girl with purple hair shouted,"Hey, he's getting away."
Though they didn't want to let their prey escape, they weren't in a rush also. In fact, they were quite calm about it. Then, the girl with brown hair asked,"Is this one of those tactical retreat things?"
The red haired girl only replied with,"If he gets away, our contract is forfeited."
Hearing this, the black haired girl used her ability and slid across the concrete floor at a speed which was fast enough to catch up to the Tarantula, despite it having a head start. Then, once it went past the Tarantula, a smirk appeared on his face as he kneeled down and touched the floor. Soon after, the Tarantula started to drift around in circles.
"If I increase the frictional coefficient of the floor under one leg, the other legs will just spin their wheels."
The Tarantula crashed into one of the walls, and from above, it was the wall which Yomikawa was on. She started to lose her footing as the pathway soon broke apart and started collapsing down. Debris and rubble fell down the slope and the D.A. soldier too, lost his footing and fell straight down. After he landed, he was crushed by one of the debris, which covered and squished his entire body like an ant. The bag which he dropped, soon opened up to reveal a sleeping Last Order.
Yomikawa's eyes opened wide in disbelief as she asks,"What are you doing here?!"
The bag which contained Last Order slowly slipped down, and Yomikawa jumped straight for her. She reached her hand out, and eventually, she caught the bag which Last Order was inside and hugged her tight.
She fell down the slope, her body floating for a second before hitting the concrete slope. This action repeated itself for a few more times until finally, she landed on her shoulder. However, she had a hard landing. She landed on her right shoulder, breaking it instantly as beneath it, was a rock with its sharp edge facing upwards. It pierced through her skin and punctured itself inside her shoulder.
However, she ignored the pain and went to check on Last Order's condition.
"Hey kid, are you okay? Wake up!" She shook Last Order for a bit, before checking her pulse. There was still a pulse, but it was weak.
"Damn it, I have to get her out of--"
Before she could finish her sentence, she was interrupted by a child's voice.
"That's the huge bag with the girl in it they mentioned over the radio, isn't it?"
Yomikawa slowly looked up in horror as four childlike figures stood on top of the collapsed Tarantula.
"You kept our spoils safe for us." The 'girl' with black hair said.
"However..." The girl with brown hair said before pausing for a while as she showed a smile of sadism.
"It does not change the fact that you're still a teacher."
"Who are these kids?" Yomikawa wonders in her head.
"If you leave the bag there and walk away, we're willing to let you go. Disposing of you wasn't included in our job so we're just gonna spare you." The girl with red hair said.
However, instead of backing away, Yomikawa gulped down her fears as she reaches into her back pocket for a retractable baton. She held it in her left hand, and as sweat drips down her forehead, she says,"Sorry, but I have to keep a promise and I have work to do..."
She stares the red-haired girl in the eyes and then, a smile appeared on that girl's face.
"Heh, there was no option for you in the first place. We were going to kill you anyways. The moment you turn your back on us, it's game over. Oh, but don't worry. We'll let you enjoy your last living moments."
Then she turns to her teammates,"So, who wants to go first?"
Immediately after that, the girl with purple hair jumped up and down as she excitedly says,"Me! Me! I'll do it! I'll do it!"
Her breasts didn't even budge as she was jumping and the girl with brown hair asked her,"Do you need any help?"
"No thank you, of course!"
"What's with those kids?" Yomikawa mutters.
"I don't need any help to take out a single teacher." The girl with purple hair says as she takes her umbrella and points it at Yomikawa. Soon after, the umbrella started to break apart into an innumerable amount of paper, alongside with her clothes. The papers started to form a massive bunny with 2 bow ties located at it's shin. The girl was inside the bunny, occupying the stomach of the bunny, with the head above her, her legs and arms covered by even bigger parts.
Her whole body exposed, except for her tits and her womanhood, as they were covered by paper. The bunny had three fingers on each side and three toes, red eyes, and a pair of bunny ears of course.
"Ta-da!"
Paper and pink smoke filled the area around them.
"Now then, let's do this! Let's see how well..."
Then she jumps up 20 metres into the air, preparing to smash the ground with the impact.
"...this goes today!"
When she landed, the ground shook so hard that it moved the Tarantula, and everyone stumbled around, including the other three girls on the Tarantula. She licks her lips as she stares down Yomikawa.
"Such a wonderful feeling!"
Then the red haired girl shouted at her,"Hey Naru! Watch it, will you?! Hold back a little more!"
The purple haired girl, nicknamed Naru, turned back to apologise to the girls,"Oh, sorry, sorry! I got a little too excited, you see! Every time I think I get to kill a teacher!"
Then, she gracefully jumps back onto the Tarantula, scoring a perfect landing as she lands flat on those massive feet. This time, the ground didn't shake.
"Now then, how should I kill her?" She asks as she turns to her teammates for suggestions. However, instead of waiting for an answer, she threw out her ideas instead.
"Mess around by pulling her arms out of her shoulders one at a time? Or maybe I'll snap her neck, and let her twitch! Which would you like?"
That last question was directed towards Yomikawa and Yomikawa felt a chill down her spine and asks them,"Why do you have such a beef against educators?"
"Educators? You mean, teachers?" Naru asks.
"Yeah."
"I mean, you guys are the root of all evil, aren't you?"
The rest of her team nod their heads and the brown haired girl says,"Academy City is like one big school, right? So it's obviously the teachers' fault if the city isn't run right, isn't it?"
"Which is why, if we drop the hammer one by one on the teachers who neglect their duties and let the city get this bad, then someday, we'll arrive at the headmaster or the principal or whoever is the source of all this evil is, and after we squash them nice and flat, we think it will be a better place. Don't you think so? You think so, too, right?"
The only people who agreed with her were teammates, Yomikawa however, found their ideals wrong and was glad she found out what made them that way. She was determined to save them from the darkness. The same darkness which that boy was in. She was prepared to drag them out of it.
"You're wrong! Sure, there are people like D.A. here. But those of us in Anti-Skill have the resolve and determination to risk our necks to keep the students of Academy City safe!"
Naru looks at Yomikawa and just smirks, and questions her,"There are teachers Lik that? Of course not!"
From the corner of a cargo, a D.A. soldier came out pointing his P90 at Naru and shouted as he started firing,"You rotten scums! You kids should listen and do what we grown-ups tell you to do! Die, you filthy brat!"
However, upon seeing him, Naru simply made a wall which formed faster than the speed of sound. The bullets couldn't pierce through the paper.
"A D.A. survivor?"
"So, a former teacher?"
"It's pretty low of you to be shooting at students with no hesitation."
"Yeah, there really is no helping teachers."
Naru deconstructed the wall and jumped down the Tarantula to meet the D.A. soldier head on. She raised her hand to him, preparing to flick his head off. But, she stops and turns to the brown haired girl.
"Yaku, would you please finish him off?"
"Yeah, yeah." Yaku calmly says as she jumps down the Tarantula.
Yomikawa wanted to save the D.A. soldier but was pushed back by Naru.
"See this as a preview for what we're gonna do to you, teacher." Naru smiles as she witnesses the unfortunate fate for the ex Anti-Skill member.
Yaku pulls out a few capsules with a light blue line in the centre and drops it onto the D.A. soldier. She lands gracefully past the soldier and his right arm starts to freeze up slowly.
"W-What is this?!" The soldier asks and Yaku responds with,"Minus 269 degrees. My own specially-formulated refrigerant. Controlling the specific gravity here is the key point."
"I can still...bring...justice..."
However, his time is up as the capsule started to slowly freeze his entire body from the arm and within 10 seconds, he had become nothing more than a statue. Naru aims her arm at the statue and in one second, her arm extended so fast and long that it sent the statue towards a wall, destroying him completely to the point where his body parts, which were previously frozen became nothing more than 'snow flakes'.
"Why?" Yomikawa mutters, though she was not hoping for an answer to that.
"Sorry to keep you waiting. Now, it's your turn, teacher." Naru says as she turns to Yomikawa.
Words cannot bring them back. No one was around to help her. However, she knew something. They wouldn't dare go after their "prize", so she knew what she had to do.
Naru started to charge at Yomikawa. Naru was going to give her an uppercut to the jaw with her right arm, however, Yomikawa simply evaded her by moving to the left. However, that was all she could do. With her right shoulder injured, she lost her means of attacking Naru. She needed her to use the left arm. She ran away with her back turned towards Naru.
"Didn't we tell you that we'd kill you if you had your back turned?" Naru leaps all the way to Yomikawa and she tried to deliver a double axe handle towards her. Yomikawa turned back and dodged just in time. Naru landed and she smashed the ground, causing the whole ground to shake. The impact blew Yomikawa all the way back against a wall, where her head hit the concrete wall.
She felt oozy and lightheaded from the impact. Her vision was slowly fading away. It was all a blur to her. There were voices in the background, however, she could not make them out. When she looked up to the ceiling, the bight light was covered by a dark shadow, the shadow was getting bigger and bigger.
She was going to die. There was no one to save her. She couldn't pull out the will from within herself. She couldn't stand, and she couldn't move. She could not see anything.
"I'm sorry, Yoshikawa. I didn't fulfil our promise. Well, I've had enough of fighting. Those kids are right. Academy City is rotten to the core. Evil is everywhere. Not even Anti-Skill is enough to protect them. I've hit my limit."
She smiled in the face of death.
-4th September 7:13p.m.-
"This way, right?" Ester says as the Judgement officer behind tried to catch up to her.
"Wait up...I'm...not that...athletic!" The girl shouts as she tried to catch her breath while running. Soon, Ester stops in front of the food supplement factory. They headed into the parking lot and saw many Anti-Skill vehicles parked in the depot.
"So many vehicles...Was this a large scale raid by Anti-Skill?" The Judgement member asks as they approach the vehicles. However, the moment they got near the entrance, they saw many dead bodies, either beaten to death, or have missing body parts. One thing for sure is that, they are all dead. There were no signs of life.
"This is bad...Quick! We have to hurry!" Ester shouts for the Judgement member and she nodded her head, disregarding the danger they were about to face.
Once they got past the dark section of the pathway, they were greeted by the light. When Ester walked in, she saw a massive bunny kneeling down on the ground.
"What is this?" The Judgement member asked, however, she was not enquiring about the bunny, but on the countless dead bodies scattered throughout the whole place.
"I got you now!" The bunny shouted as it jumped up high in the air.
Ester was surprised to see a bunny flying, but when she saw what it was targeting, she saw a female Anti-Skill officer against a wall. She thought fast and quickly looked at her surroundings. She then stumbled on dirt and she thought of an idea.
"To finish you off, a Giant Stamp!"
Yes that's right, that bunny was Naru, and she was like a missile as she tried to stomp Yomikawa to death.
"Ahahaha! Flattened!" Yaku says in amusement.
"There she goes. She lasted quite a while." The black haired girl comments.
"Naru?" The red haired girl asks.
From the impact, the smoke covered most of the view but the first person to emerge out of that smoke was Naru, as she starts to shiver from the impact, still in her bunny form.
"S-So hard..." She stutters as she falls down, ass first.
Then, as the smoke clears out, Yomikawa was still alive, though unconscious.
"W-What is that?!" Naru asks.
Around Yomikawa were three dirt slabs covering her left arm, right arm, and the top of her head. In the centre of her body, was a shield made out of dirt as well.
"Armour of the dead." Ester says as she places her hand on the floor, but beneath her hand was dirt and a magic circle.
"Like that can stop me!" Naru shouts as she tries to attack again. However, the result was still the same.
"No way. Is she a psychokinesis that can only manipulate dirt?" Naru wonders.
"Damn it! Did you think that something like that can stop my specially-made mascot suit's attack?! Killer Punch!"
Naru used a hammer shaped using paper to try and hit Yomikawa but it didn't work, as she got pushed back again.
"That stings again!"
"It's no use. I don't know who you people are, but I've just about reached the limits of my patience. Get out of here!" Ester menacingly says, however, the response she got was the opposite of what she was expecting.
"Nah. Bleh" Yaku says as she pulls her eye bag down while sticking her tongue out.
"Naru, wear it down. It's just dirt. Make a drill and just pierce right through it."
"Ah! That makes sense! Okay, my new creation...is an excavator version!"
Fuel engines appeared behind her back, and a massive drill, 10 metres in length and 5 metres in radius and width.
"Time...to...die!" Naru says as she approaches Yomikawa.
"STOP!"
Everyone stopped moving to look for the source of that voice. That voice belonged to the flowerbed girl from Judgement.
"No killing!" She shouts as she approaches Yomikawa. She walks over Yomikawa to check her pulse and heaves a sigh of relief to find her still alive.
However, the drill right next to her head converted back into the arms Naru was using. Naru grabs the Judgement girl by the head and throws her backwards.
"Who said you can interfere with my fun?"
"Oh no, it's a model student."
"Just kill her, Naru."
Naru smirks as she approaches the girl. The girl bravely stood back up and faced the culprit.
"No! Get back!" Ester shouts but she didn't listen.
Naru jabs the Judgement girl once and she churns her stomach as she rolls around in pain. Naru picks her up and flicks her body all the way to the other side of the area.
"Don't ever ruin someone's fun time, okay? Mo-del stu-dent." Naru leaps all the way to her, just when a talisman appeared under her feet and she was sent flying backwards.
"Rrrrrgghhh...Stop ruining my fun! All of you should just die!"
"Ohhh Naru's maaad." Yaku says as the three of them watch the entertaining show from above.
Naru jumps over to Ester and kicks her stomach. She flew back into the darkness of where she came from and she tries to crawl but she couldn't.
"Now then, time to resume my fun in killing the teacher!"
Ester was going to blackout. She reached her hand out in the darkness but no one was there for her. She was going to suffer the same fate again when she was with Hishigata.
"Someone...please...save..."
On her next word, the 2 silhouettes in front of her would decide whether to help her or not.
"...them..."
In the darkness, the brightest light in that darkness showed up to her. His pale white skin, his white hair, his white shirt with grey stripes covering them horizontally. In the darkness, his eyes glowed red as he approached her.
"Tch, go find yourself a hero. I'm just a villain. A piece of fucking shit villain."
Her eyes widened up as she recognised the voice of her "hero". Beside him, was a tall and slender girl, though slightly shorter than the boy beside her. She wore a violet dress with shorts, along with black thigh high socks and white boots.
"What a way to make an appearance, Accelerator. Very cool, very cool. Now then, how do you want me to take care of them, my client?"
In the darkness, he told it to her. The irony of his statement. She could only laugh at his request.
"Sorry, but that's impossible for me. I have no control over myself." The girl beside him was the 4th ranked level 5 esper, Mugino.
"Then fuck off."
"Hey, I'll support you if you ever need it."
"No thanks. I can handle this alone."
Then he looks at Ester and tells Mugino,"Get her out of here. She's just dead weight."
In the darkness, a metal hitting the concrete floor could be heard, and it was not a pleasant sound. It was enough to attract Naru, Yaku and the rest of her team.
"I swear, kids like all of you should be at home sleeping or doing your homework." Accelerator says as he walks up to them.
"Huh? Who are you?" Naru asks.
"Are you going to take away my fun?"
"..." He kept silent.
"Ha?"
"..."
"Hey, I asked you a question!"
"*Sigh* This is annoying."
"What? If you're not gonna answer me, then I'll squish you to death right now!"
The light to his electrode turned red and he redirected Naru's punch. She fell all the way back to the Tarantula, her eyes feeling dizzy as she tries to comprehend what just happened.
"W-Who is that?" Naru asks.
The rest of her teammates were shocked as well. He repelled her attack like it was nothing, when just a moment ago, she hit the ground so hard that it shook.
"The thing is...it's not about whether I'll take away your fun or not. It's more about whether you can entertain me or not! AHAHAHAHA!"
"Nice. What a lovely face. A look in his that's part killer, part crazy, and a skewed mouth that's all but grown desperate toward the world. Mmhmm, I'm also getting the same whiff from him." The girl with red hair whispers to herself before shouting for him,"Nice going! What do you say you come along on our teacher-hunting trip?"
"Ugh, leader's dreadful taste is kicking in again. Naru, you okay?"
"She takes a little interest in someone, and then can't help but invite them in. Naru, are you okay? Come on, you didn't get THAT hurt."
"Uwaaa..."
"So? What do you say?"
"..."
She jumps down from the Tarantula to greet him,"Hey, you there! With you along, there will be exactly five of us, and I'll even give you what would be the black position in a senate show! That's appealing, right? So, how about it?"
"..."
"..."
"..."
"Hey, come on! Stop ignoring me!"
"Tch..."
"Say something, would you?"
Using his cane, Accelerator tapped the ground and caused a surge of wind to burst from the ground, approaching the red haired girl. He was very wary that the moment he moved from that spot, he would deal with some misfortune, so he stayed put.
The wind forced the red haired girl to jump from where she was standing, and she landed in front of Accelerator's feet.
"Kids like you shouldn't be telling someone older than you what to do." His overbearing presence and shadow scared her. His hair partially covering his eyes. In the darkness underneath his fringe, those cold, red eyes stared back. A gaze only a killer can make.
"Huh? What?" His shadow overwhelmed her for some reason. She had no idea who he was, or what he wanted, but all she knew that, the person in front of her was scary. Terrifying. She was at a loss for words.
"Don't go acting dumb now. You told me to say something, didn't you?!" He slammed his cane on the ground, using the same move as before, the wind was so powerful that it easily lifted the Tarantula which weighed 120 tons. It flew high up in the air and was about to land on the red-haired girl. Well, it wasn't exactly going to crush her, but it was to add to the fear factor.
"HAHAHAHAHA! A pest is about to get crushed by another pest!" Accelerator laughs maniacally as the Tarantula was about to be sent crashing down on her.
"Leader!" The girls and 'girl' shouted. In a flash, Naru quickly grabbed their leader and outran the Tarantula falling on them, with a speed faster than light.
Accelerator jumped on the Tarantula, however, he almost lost his footing, and he did. But he plays it off as him going down the Tarantula. Beneath his legs were concrete rocks that looked like spikes. He created a force underneath his feet and crushed the rocks using that force.
"Tch, what's with my luck? I hope my electrode just doesn't turn off after using it for one hour." He thought to himself as the four members of the team looked at him, contemplating their next move.
The black haired 'girl' wanted to make a "tactical retreat" but Yaku scolded her, saying they'll get demoted.
"Then what do we do?"
"Yeah! My techniques won't work against him!" Naru says.
"Ah! I can't take you two complaining!"
Then, their leader finally proves why she is the leader, being able to pick herself back up after something devastating happens.
"We'll use a combination attack. Nobody has ever escaped from a Scavenger combo attack. Am I right?"
At that, they all regained their spirits.
"We are the unbeatable...Scavenger!"
Accelerator just stares at them, bored and waiting for their next move.
"Goddamnit... I don't have all day. Just do what you need to do and give Last Order back to me."
Naru picks the black haired 'girl' up and hurls 'her' next to him. 'She' kneels down beside him to use 'her' ability. Just then, a ring of light appeared beneath him.
"Ahn?" He was confused, but he crouched down and touched the light with his left hand. At that moment, the sound of glass shattering could be heard only to him. 'She' was also surprised and before 'she' could shout out to them, the leader proceeded on with her next instructions.
"Good, he should not be able to move from that spot if there is no frictional coefficient. Naru!"
"Burst of Artwork!"
Soon, paper surrounded him like a tornado and they started to form some type of structure. He could not see it from inside, but from the outside, it was an iron maiden.
"Yaku!"
"Right!"
At that moment, he used his left hand to touch the structure, and it broke apart, switching back to the thin, flimsy paper everyone normally uses. However, Yaku injected some kind of red liquid into a ball and it was right after she threw it that she knew she fucked up. The structure broke apart and Accelerator was greeted with a ball in his face. He let his redirection do the work and redirected it to the ceiling, where it exploded.
"Wha-?!" The three members of Scavenger who stood behind were shocked as he broke apart their combination bit by bit.
"Anymore?"
They could not find the words to respond.
"N-No way!"
"Th-That's impossible!"
"Who exactly is this guy?"
Accelerator looks at the 'girl' beside him and with one light kick, he sends her flying all the way to the other concrete wall. The same one which Yomikawa was at.
"I'll take my time playing with all of you. Since you like to play, right?! AHAHAHAHA!"
He knew how ugly he looked by doing all these, how much of a bastard he can be. But he was glad no one could see the him right now. Not even Ester, not even Last Order. He dropped his cane and manipulated the vectors in his body, and charged at 'her' to give 'her' a knee to the crotch.
At that moment, 'she' screamed out loud and he looked at 'her', confused. He felt a bulge underneath that skirt, and it slowly got bigger.
"You...are a boy?" He asks him.
"I won't question your fetishes." He lowers his head to mourn for him. Then, he hears a voice behind him,"You bastard! Die!"
He turns around and sees Naru charging at him. Her fist, about to meet his redirection field. However, he spared her from the distance and instead reached his left hand out and it came into contact with her bunny. In a flash, her paper armour was gone. She was literally stripped bare. Her naked body exposed to him and she fell to the ground. Her hands at his feet.
She looked up at him, frightened.
"Is that all the rage you have? Ha?!" He kicks her in the neck using a bit of force, but not enough to kill her.
"Naru!" Yaku shouted and she prepared to throw a bomb. However, a green beam shot through her hand and she drops the bomb.
"Seriously? Are you here to torment them, or are you here to have fun?"
The voice which irritated Accelerator a lot.
"What are you doing here?"
"I saw how much you were having and decided to join in as well."
"Tch, I didn't need your help."
Naru tried to crawl away, but Accelerator grabs her leg and throws her towards the wall. She landed without crashing into the wall, and he cups her cheek using one hand and pats her face.
"Is that all you have? Why don't you shout and let your rage out even more? Hey...I'm talking to you!" He releases her face and used his right hand and manipulated the vectors in his hand to deliver a slap so loud, it echoed throughout the area. The slap was so hard that Naru immediately passed out, with drool dripping down from her mouth and her pupils non-existent.
"*sigh* Such a waste of time."
"W-Why is Mugino here?!" Yaku asks as she tries to back away, but is shot in her right foot. She falls down and Mugino slowly approached her.
"Sorry kid, but this is just business." She stomps on Yaku's stomach non-stop and didn't care whether she would die or not. All she wanted to do was get the job done, and go home.
"How about I burn your pretty little face in?" Mugino asks as she activates her esper ability. A glowing green globe was at her fingertips and she was about to burn Yaku's face in, had it not been Accelerator who stopped her.
"This isn't what we agreed upon, Mugino."
"Tch, you're not playing a scary villain right now, Accelerator."
At that moment, Yaku fainted from fear, and the two of them looked at their last prey.
"So, how should we do this?" Mugino asks.
"Isn't it obvious? We give her the same treatment." Both of them stood over the leader as their grins stretched from one end of their face to the other.
Their towering height scared the leader as she tries get up and run. But, Accelerator moved quick and appeared in front of her. The leader looked at them and pissed her pants as she bows down in front of them and pleaded them.
"Please spare me! I'll give you anything! I'll do anything! Just let us go, please!"
"Anything, huh?"
"Yes, anything!"
"Okay, how about this. I'll spare you, but you listen to my rules now. Whoever sent you here, you don't listen to them. You listen to me, got that?"
She furiously nods her head and he passes his phone to her.
"Number."
"Huh?"
"If I ever tell you to come, you better come. Give me a wrong number and you're dead."
"Urk! Uhhh...but we don't carry phones around..."
"Ahn?!" He looks at her, normally. But to her, his eyes spelled out "kill".
"Ahhh!"
"Then, what do you use?"
"T-Transmitters."
From her bag, she took out one gekota transmitter and passed it to him.
"Are you kidding me? A kid's toy?"
"I-It's not what it looks like! It's an actual transmitter!"
"Then let's try it out. Oi Mugino, go to the entrance and use it."
He hands her the transmitter and she clicks her tongue. He taps the transmitter and says,"Oi"
"..." No response.
He looks at Scavenger's leader and asks her,"Why is it not working?"
It was quiet, but it had a lot of suspense and fear packed into it and it frightened her a lot.
"I-It's supposed to work! Please wait, let me try!"
She takes it from his hands and kept shouting,"Hey, hey, hey, can you hear me?... Can you hear me?...CAN YOU HEAR ME?!"
She was panicking as she knew if there was no response, it means that she had lied to him. He grabs her by the neck and asks her,"Looks like our deal is over."
"W-Wait! Please, no!"
Then, a *Crrrrk* sound effect could be heard from the transmitter.
"Hah! I was just kidding, of course I could hear you."
At that moment, all the stress and fear pent up inside her was relieved as she drops to the ground, kneeling. The last streak of piss coming out from her and she passes out from the suspense.
Accelerator only sighs and he goes to look for the bag which Last Order was in. He switched his electrode back to green after picking up his cane and limped all the way to Last Order. A small smile appeared on his face, although it was barely visible. He was glad to see her unharmed.
