Falling into thought Travis stumbled upon a dangerous thought. With every passing loop of 'today' Travis felt the sense of deja vu growing stronger. What if he were to force the loops enough to where he remembered when he woke up at midnight?
Preemptively knowing about the loops would help tremendously to find some sort of pattern to help him figure out what exactly he was supposed to do. The more he thought about it the more Travis convinced himself that this might be the right idea.
There was only a small possibility stopping him from carelessly proceeding, and that was a potential limit to how many loops he could perform. If he failed to do whatever he was supposed to, what if it stuck him in some alternate reality? Making him unable to return to his life post regression? If he was sent back to his life prior to his regression.
"No point in thinking negatively.", Travis forcefully reigned in his spiraling thoughts.
