Akiol and Rue walked to a park. It was their agreed meeting spot ahead of time. Akiol wasn't sure if Horizon's Origin had eyes within their home, but he wasn't about to risk it.
Massaging his palm absentmindedly Akiol looked about and spotted a bench, "I'm. . . going to sit for a moment."
"Nerves getting to you?", Rue teased.
"I. . .", Akiol stumbled forward.
He had tripped over a broken piece of sidewalk. It was then he realized that the bottom half of his vision had gone blurry. Rubbing his eyes he managed to find the bench and sat down upon it. Feeling tears go down his cheeks he let out a shaky sigh.
"The side effects, it's rougher on my eyes and mind. Such things can't be empowered nearly as well with Aura. They're too delicate.", Akiol explained.
