[Pain Fueled (Passive)]
Tilia's Unique Skill. As an unyielding unwavering defender she's no stranger to pain. Rather it pushes her forward, making her stronger!
Cost:
- Passive
Effects:
- For every 1 HP lost, 1 Stat Point is gained to all stats
- For every 1 HP gained, 1 Stat Point is lost to all stats (does not apply to newly gained max HP)
- Upon losing 1% HP in a single hit all stats are increased by an additional 1%
- Upon losing 10% in a single hit, all stats are increased by an additional 10%
- All above effects stack.
- All buffs are removed after 24 hours.
- Upon reaching 0 HP, once per week, the user enters [Health Deficit]
- Immunity to Crowd Control Skills
- Reduces Healing Effectiveness by 50%
Extra Skills:
{Health Deficit:
Upon reaching 0 HP the user does not die immediately. Instead their HP goes into the negatives. This effect ends the moment the HP's negative value exceeds that of the User's HP value.
This HP is to be repaid, reducing natural regeneration by 50% until all negative HP is repaid. External healing does not contribute to repayment.}

This was essentially the same as Wrock's [Adrenaline] ability tied to his Gi. However not only was this ability part of Tilia, it was far stronger! With 1 HP equaling 1 to every stat, Tilia was essentially growing far stronger the more damage she took! Considering the abilities ability to stack, if by chance she took 10% of her HP in an attack, her stats increase far higher than 10%. It would be more than 20% even!
Additionally with [Health Deficit] Tilia essentially had double HP. Along with her absurd HP to stat ratio granted by her War Sight, her HP was BOSS levels. Just by losing 1 HP point, Tilia's max HP increases by more than 1 HP.
The first thing Tilia tested was to see if this was perpetual. If by gaining more max HP, did that count as losing HP or gaining? Turns out it was neither, it was just increasing her max HP. Meaning she didn't gain or lose any stats.
A second thing to note was the percentage buffs weren't reduced when she gained HP. Thus if she faced something capable of dealing heavy damage to remove 10% of her HP in one hit, she could heal that HP back and still keep the percentage buffs. She'd simply lose a lot of the bonuses gained from individual HP point loss.
For a Unique Skill, this wasn't nearly as drastic compared to Kan'na and her Key to All or [The Answer] Skill. In fact many players would view it as a positive pick up, but not too drastic. The current meta was to have your HP as full as possible to survive longer. It was only incredibly powerful in Tilia's hands due to her incredible amount of HP!
Additionally, there was the [Life Renascence] Skill!
[Life Renascence]
Having removed all impurities within their body, the Life Stirring is complete. This grants the user a pure and untainted body. With their will they could stimulate their cells to provide a boost to the user's physique at the cost of reduced regeneration.
Cost:
- 15% of max MP
- OR
- 5% of max HP
Effects:
- Upon activation the user's HP compared to their max HP is considered. For every 1% of currently lost HP, gain a 1% increase to all stats.
- Additional +50% to all stats
- -50% to HP regeneration
Additional Effects:
- When [Life Renascence] is not active and user is not in combat HP regeneration +200%
- When [Life Renascence] is not active the user can turn 1% of MP into 1% of HP
-End-
[Life Renascence] provided less benefits compared to [Life Stirring] but that was only if Tilia used it while in good condition. Combined with [Health Deficit] Tilia could gain more than 100% extra stats. Along with [Pain Fueled] Tilia was more akin to a Berserker than a defender!
With all these effects in consideration, Tilia felt her equipment should be less focused on keeping her alive, and more focused on providing extra bonuses! Damage reduction was her main focus, with it she'd be able to drag out fights longer, all the while getting stronger. More stats didn't mean much if she couldn't buy time. Her job as a defender was usually that after all.
However Tilia wished to not have damage negation like her previous armor set. With her massive HP pool if she had the damage negation of any attack that dealt less than 5% of her HP, then she couldn't properly utilize [Pain Fueled]. Since the damage negation seemed to be tied with her War Sight in her old equipment set, then Tilia felt confident she could express her desire to not have this same effect be placed upon her new equipment set.
Taking a screenshot of these effects she sent them towards Kan'na. While waiting for the Goddess to review and theorize, Tilia debated if she should return to the Gated Arena and obtain a new quote. Or obtain information from the dwarves instead.
Her train of thought was wrecked as Kan'na exclaimed, "What is this! Tilia are you trying to take the roles of both tank and damage dealer?!"
"I'll have to make sure my equipment is tailored with these in mind."
Kan'na collapsed further into the couch, "Akiol was right. We have to fight when everyone is done improving."
"A teamwide spar? Would help for us to understand our new capabilities."
"I don't think Akiol understood how insane you were going to become. What's the ratio of HP to stat point you have currently?"
"I don't remember, but it's above a hundred HP per point."
Kan'na waved her hand about as if she failed to find words, "Wouldn't this mean you get basically thousands of stat points as the battle goes on?"
"I'd have to fight something that pushes me to that point.", Tilia pointed out, "Excluding Fourth Stage and higher I doubt I'll ever reach that point."
"Akiol and Wrock are going to need some serious development. Else I might throw them out of our party. You can easily handle their damage dealing capabilities like this.", Kan'na joked.
"Wrock always has something up his sleeve."
"I can't help but notice you didn't say anything about Akiol."
Tilia cracked a smile before changing the topic, "Any news on your own equipment?"
"I plan to take a look at the Gods' Providence and see if there's anything I could. . . borrow. . . to make myself something. I also plan to have a tiny chat with the God of Magic and discuss various matters with him. Talking with you about methods regarding sorcerer equipment was interesting. The only thing is that I haven't the faintest clue on what it should help me with."
"Really? What are you lacking?"
Kan'na looked at Tilia for several seconds before saying, "Nothing?"
"Har har.", Tilia resisted the urge to roll her eyes.
"My issue with MP and spell creation times have become nonissues now. As Six Light's resident mage I do believe that's basically my whole job. I could make some armor to make me a tank, since you seem to be taking on the role of damage dealer."
"And what, have Akiol learn magic?", Tilia shook her head, "Is there nothing you could amplify?"
"Amplifying my output could work, but it's not quite needed. Perhaps the God of Magic could give me a little help in this regard."
"If you need assistance obtaining anything I can keep an eye and ear out in the East Continent."
"Oh that reminds me! I. . . I don't have any sizeable mana crystals on me.", Kan'na suddenly frowned as she reached a hand in the subspace and dug about.
"Remind you of what?", Tilia prevented Kan'na from going astray with her train of thought.
"I want a recording of the other half of the East Continent. I know that since Goju's appearance it's a bit chaotic. I just wanted a recording to study to see if there was a way to fix it, if the East Continent players haven't already.", Kan'na explained while her frown deepened.
Her entire arm was absorbed into the subspace as Kan'na continued to fish for something. So Tilia kept the conversation going, "I could also grab any resources that look like they've changed."
"That works too!", Kan'na came to a realization and freed her arm from the subspace, "Collect what you can, I don't need too much. A few samples to gain an idea. If I could better understand the Spirit of the Origin Hydra it could also be of help to Mira."
"I'll keep that in mind. Once I obtain the Rubar I'll have you send me to the East."
"No other material you need?"
"I'm going to ask for the dwarves' opinion and try to obtain it over there.", Tilia finally decided her next course of action.
"Just inform me when it's time.", Kan'na spread out her hands, "Need anything else?"
"Nope! Thank you for your help."
"Anytime.", Kan'na snapped and she vanished.
Tilia scratched her head, it must be real convenient to be able to teleport anywhere at any time. Is this the power given by Godhood, or just the ability of Kan'na who no longer had any restraints?
"Well, guess I gotta keep improving too.", Tilia mumbled.
