Rean was just about to step out of the old man's office when he remembered something. "Oh, right! I forgot to ask, who are the guys in the next batch of the Main Core Protection?"
The man's mouth twitched. "Are you mocking me? Do you really think such information would be available for everyone to see? When you mentioned wanting to convince someone, I assumed you actually knew someone who was going there."
Rean scratched the back of his head. Of course, he didn't know. "Well, everyone wants those positions, so even if I know someone who is going there, I doubt they would have told me about it."
"Exactly!" The old man looked at Rean as if he were an idiot. "The names of those going there in the next batch are classified, and as far as I know, your Class Seven Propagator position does not give you access to it. Now, stop wasting my time and just leave. You aren't the only one using my office to report back, you know?"
