Around an hour later, Rean and Roan were making their way deeper into the Umbral Field. Then, from Rean's shoulder, a little bit of the Layer of Shadow Energy changed into a dark cloud before it took the shape of an eye. It was Xian, looking around with curiosity. "Wow... I've never been more than a few kilometers from the borders before."
The twins still couldn't see many Umbras, and the huge majority were all Level One. Those at Level Two could be counted on one hand, and the twins were moving pretty fast. "Do you have any idea how big the Umbral Field is, Xian?"
Xian's eye shook from one side to the other. "No. I don't think anyone where I live has any idea about how big it is, but it is definitely enormous."
That much the twins could tell. Since Xian had never seen a Level Three Umbra while he knew they existed, it served as an example. You would expect the territory of those higher-level ones to be much larger, after all.
