A mournful, agonizing cry echoed against the walls of the sprawling bedroom, though the man delivering the tragic monologue lay perfectly still on the center of his king-sized bed. One of his pale, manicured hands was draped casually across his eyes. His face was entirely unreadable, stripped of any genuine emotion or human warmth. He delivered the heartbreaking words in a flat, mechanical monotone, sounding less like a grieving lover and more like an AI robot executing a pre-programmed script.
