( Yuuki's POV )
After all the teams had their turn in the first round, the second round began and things ran similarly to the previous one and some competitions were repeated, I hadn't prepared many different games yet.
In the third round things changed a bit as the competitions were decided by team votes but the participants were still chosen randomly, there was some strategy here choosing a competition better suited to your team and the probability of being picked.
At the end of the three rounds the scores were like this, my team and the princess guard had three hundred points, The Sekirei disciplinary committee and the IS academy were left with two hundred and fifty, The Zombie Elimination Squad, the Order of the Moon, the Fallen Angels and the Hollow team tied with two hundred points and at the end were the Young Devils with one hundred and seventy-five points, but there was still a chance for everyone, the final round was a winner-takes-all competition for two hundred points.
The competition was going to be a battle royal fight with all teams participating at the same time, another pocket dimension was created for our competition and before entering there all the participants stood in a circle against the wall of the arena, I looked at the expressions of those present and most were full of anticipation of the great battle and some were somewhat worried, possibly because of the possibility of meeting someone too powerful early on, after all we were going to be transported individually to random parts of the map.
Roderika was especially nervous, that was almost her natural state, she looked up when she felt my gaze on her and I winked at her, She blushed at my action but then she cheered herself up, and she ended up more ready for the competition.
At that moment the siren of the sand sounded the view in front of me changed to a mountainous area, the terrain for this round was wider and more diverse than the previous ones, but every so often part of it would disappear and if one was within that area when that happened that would be immediate elimination.
I climbed to the top of one of the mid-sized mountains and scanned the terrain around me, I was at the edge of the combat arena and the closest areas to where I was were a tropical forest and a giant lake.
I decided to go through the lake to reduce the chances of an ambush, but I think it was a bit late to worry about that, someone already had me in their sights, my body jumped to the side, I slid down the mountain and I saw a silver blur crash into the top where I was before, I activated my dragon armor in the form of gauntlets, my attacker shot out of the cloud of smoke that had been created with its attack and when our fists collided I was able to recognize my attacker.
That was Lisanna, she was in her cat girl transformation and her body was brimming with energy, part of her hair had a strange shine and moved in a way that made it look like her hair was made of white fire.
One of my tails came underneath Lisanna like a spear, and Lisanna jumped back to avoid my attack, We shared a silent stare and before we resumed our fight some ice spikes flew from my side, and my tails moved to block before I saw the enemies.
I thought that Lisanna's companions had appeared but in the direction of the attack I saw the twins Linze and Elze, they and Lisanna shared a look and then Elze jumped next to Lisanna with the intention of fighting me together.
Yuuki: Three against one, that doesn't seem fair.
Linze: Uh, maybe we should have brought a couple more people.
I responded to the girls' sudden alliance in a half-serious manner and Linze responded similarly with a smile.
I got into battle stance and the girls did the same, Elze activated the new sacred gear I had created for her, which were big gauntlets that looked like the arms of a Hollow and that was because I used Hollow parts to create them, In addition to being more powerful and resistant than her old weapons, she could use the abilities of a Hollow when she used them and her eyes also turned black just like when I used my Hollow powers but she wasn't the only one who showed off her new power.
Lisanna closed her eyes and her power began to rise and when she opened them, her eyes had also turned black.
That did take me a little by surprise, Hollows are basically souls given physical form so maybe that reacted with the Take Over magic when we faced that Hollow exercise.
The two girls tested their new Hollow powers on me and they fired a pair of powerful Ceros, I activated my IS in its light armor form and with the sub arms that appeared I deflected the girls' attacks, then I put a hand over my face and my Hollow mask appeared.
Using [Accel] I moved before the girls could react, I appeared in front of Lisanna and with a punch of mine she flew out at a ninety degree angle and while she was in the air I grabbed her with my tail and pulled her in an arc trajectory against the ground behind me, Elze trying to stop me threw a punch at me and I countered it with one of my own, even with her power surge Elze was knocked back dragging her heels on the ground.
Linze from afar was gathering her magic for a powerful attack and I pointed my hand at her but at that moment Lisanna broke my tail that was tying her up with a wave of energy that came out of her body, she landed safely and I saw parts of a mask forming on her face, she then started firing a series of rapid balas, I dodged the attacks and at the same time I felt another attack coming behind me.
I crossed my arms and turned around, my tails began to deflect Lisanna's attacks and Elze appeared in front of me in an instant, The danger I felt increased and I put up extra barriers between us.
Elze: [Boost] X200!!
Pushing herself to her limits Elze threw a powerful punch that easily broke through the barriers I had created and she made contact with me, I was thrown back and crashed into one of the mountains with tremendous power, and to make matters worse I felt Linze's magic reach dangerous levels.
Linze: [EXPLOSION!!!]
