He didn't become the strategist of the brigade just because of his Arcana. It is due to his deep knowledge of military strategies, various Arcane Skills, behaviors of Evil Beasts, and many Arcane Mysteries that would help them in a battle.
One of the things he learned in the Academy was the existence of the Deities… They were beings that can literally dictate the fate of the world.
He also read an ancient book about some myths regarding their existence and how they could destroy a country with a single word from them.

Commander Almon only looked at his flustered Vice Commander and didn't think too much of the Deity at the moment. Although being called a Deity sounds grand, he heard other Arcanists being called with titles as well, such as Lord of the Night, Sword Saint, Fire Lord, Ethereal Wolf King, and First Constellation.
