The calming scene brightens her spirit as her crest seems to be in sync with its presence. "Ahh, you've noticed…" "My crest!" "Indeed. It follows the energy of the Divine. Emboldened with the energy of the very heavens. Obedient only to those who can hone it." She holds out her arms and slowly manifests memories from long ago. "You've called to me. What is it you seek, project?"
"Truth. Understanding. Purpose." "So, you want to know what you don't know?" "I want to know why these things elude me? Why is it I know some things and then I cannot again?" "As mentioned before, you're not genetically equipped to know. These things are before your origins and are lost to all that are not a part of the Divine's order." She looks at her hands and now see what looks like fingers and a thumb. She turns them up towards her face and examines the complexity of their designs. She notices a breath of air leave from what is now a face complete with eyes and ears. Her nose slowly protrudes from her face as she begins to look more "human". "What is this?" She asks. "Why…it's your answers you sought. Are you not in need of them anymore?" She begins to form a torso complete with breasts as lungs form within as well as other organs. Her arms are cooled with a skin-like substance that forms and cools as small hairs adorned her frame. "What is happening to me?!" "Only what you seek. If it pleases you, you may ask more questions. However, knowledge is an expensive commodity. It will turn your inquiries into expirations. The tissues that grow about you will begin to age you as well. Your vessel will age until it can no longer and return you to the void of existence. If you're ok with that…continue."
"Before I forget, before this completes, what am I becoming?!" "The Divine calls it "human". A hybrid of living tissue and a thing called a "spirit". The two are intertwined until the former perishes. The ideology is that the Divine needs to experiment how this can preserve their way of life after the Great Galactic Battle of Elders." "Can you tell me more about that?" "That information died with Meiga but I can give you some insight." As the scrollsman goes into detail of what it knows, her ears start to ring as she can no longer decipher what it's saying. Hair starts to grow on her new face and upon her head. She gains a reproductive system, legs and feet. The scrollsman starts to fade away as it continues its story. She starts to hear other languages crowd her mind as she grasps her head and shakes it about. She cannot quite clear her mind as her brain has now formed and is actively working to begin her new lifecycle. Surely this can't be new as all things that live die but this is different. She feels different. Her eyes are trying to adjust to her surroundings as she her feet are tickled by the sharp blades of grass. Clouds drift along in the sky as the Sun warms her face. She can feel her legs buckle as she falls face first unto the grassy grounds. Before her are simple plains and not much else. She crawls a bit as her legs are still not used to walking. In the distance are what sounds like people gathering for a joyous event. Completely naked, she feels the cool breeze across her untouched skin and begins to feel cold. "Where am I?!" She wondered. Just as she was to explore more, a small group of "beings" approach her. She tries to understand what they're saying but can't make out the strange sounds. They seem to be asking her something but it's jumbled and muffled in nature. The grounds seemed to be in tact but her mind doesn't. "Are they speaking a new language of some sort? That one there looks…familiar." The being kneels down and places a cloak upon her. It seems to be a nurturing thing. Filled with large expressive eyes, the creature stretches out its wretched hands. "There, there, now little one. Welcome to your new home." Its calming nature subsides as the gruesome face unfolds a grisly facade that drips with a foul ooze. "I'll take goooooooood care of you." The voice bends and twists as if speaking through a tattered bamboo shoot. It echoes and doubles with each passing sound. Its lips purse and utters viciously. Drool forms and drops as the being crouched over her newly formed body and lifts her away. The clouds grow darker with each blink and she realizes her demise: this isn't normal. A strong smell of sulfur and ash floods her senses. Her skin grows hot to the touch and she is slipping in and out of consciousness. She feels lethargic as the being carries her towards a darkened opening. The sky draws darker still and begins to fade into a reddened landscape. The strong smell of rotten flesh and charred carcasses lingers about the opening as the two drift into the darkened passage. "Isn't this what you wanted to know?" The fiendish ghoul teases. "Nothing like some perspective to keep 'em going!" Hellish laughter increases as the air grows thin. The cruel beings lie her down upon a makeshift bed of bones and moss from the bog not far from the opening. "Let's see what we have here." She awakens to find multiple creatures exploring her helpless body. Her legs can feel the sensation of touching as her hairs begin to stand on end. Her brain has a heightened sense of danger as the beings try to force her legs and arms down. She tries desperately to yell but feels a burning sensation from her throat as her larynx is new and not use to sounds forming from it. There is something, though, that she feels within her. A sense of rage. This was familiar. With her new eyes she now can see her predicament as her mind begins to sync with her newly-formed vessel. "Heheheh! I hope she screammmmmms and cries! Muhahahahhhhaa!" The beings rejoice as they attempt to take advantage of her. She stops moving as turns her palms upwards and slowly opens her legs. "Ohh!" The perversion clouds their minds as she distracts them with her enchanting gaze. "So, no fight in ya, eh?"
She quivers in fear as he tries to focus on her crest. Her body begins to absorb the heat from their bodies and the darkened chamber. Unsure of how this is working, her brain "remembers" how to use it. Her crest begins to bubble beneath her skin and scorches everyone around it. The temperature grows until the beings are forced to flee as their skin and bones melt into a liquid of tissues and blood. Now, just stains amongst the darkness, the crest liquifies the grounds around her and manipulates the craggy grounds into a molten lava like armor that cools around her no longer exposed frame. Her hair begins to change color until it is as dark as the night sky. The so called armor cools and forms a thicker and darker skin. She's not quite sure how she ended up here but begins to try to speak. No other enemies are present. She slowly collects herself and begins to stand as her muscles feel stronger, too. She shuffles towards the opening in an attempt to escape. The immediate area has a faint light that grows with each step back towards the entrance. Small clouds of dust fills the air as she moves along the darkened corridor. The skies are crimson as she tries to get her bearings. The lands are unknown to the average traveler but seem to be somewhat foreboding in its entirety. Like a wasteland of sorts with dusty fields that stretch on for miles around, she finds no one nearby. No towns, homes nor bustling centers of would-be adventurers. She gains a bit of strength in her legs as the crest cools and dims beneath her skin. The darkened armor enhances her shape and thickens her muscles as she walks back towards the area she was found lying in. An odd stain outlines where she was and a peculiar "skin" is still there. She reaches down and lifts it to examine it but her touch seems to make the substance dissipate into a magical dusting. It's as if her old life is gone forever and somehow she has to start anew. As she walks the plains, a small flicker of light dances around her and disappears just as quickly. Unable to focus on what it is, she continues. "Head towards the third Sun…" something instructs. Too weary to question it, she looks up and finds three celestial satellites. There's one to her left shoulder, behind her and right shoulder. "Third?!"She thought. "Which is the third?!" Just then, one flickers to her left shoulder as the one behind her stops rotating. The one on her right shoulder begins to slowly embrace the horizon. "I guess the one over here." Pointing out the dipping Sun, she makes her way there. Amongst the road, is a faint smell of rushing water. The sounds grow with intensity as she continues her journey. A small group of beings are gathered there. They seem to be interested in the waters as they hover over it. She notices this and quickly ducks so as not to alert them to her presence. The creatures are waiting for something to surface but are biding their time. Clicks and sounds are heard as they are carrying on with some unknown dialogue. Perhaps, she thought, it would be wise to avoid them altogether. A familiar gnashing and gnawing sound echoes through the open plains as she comes across a strange path. The mana in the area is strong as a sense of urgency beckons her to stay on this path. As she traverses, creatures begin to emerge from all directions. The fields are building with the sounds of creepy beasts that seem to be rushing towards her. As they near her, her crest glows a brilliant blue. They try to pounce her but turn to dust once they cross the path. The sudden violent attacks forces her to run for safety within the wooded area ahead. Just beyond the path is an old cave which seems to have an ancient seal around the entrance. Her crest responds to the magic and glows dimly as she nears it. Noticing the response, she lifts her hand and watches in awe as the old magic entrance whistles and cracks open. Her eyes widen as the old battered door creaks and a dusting of sorts fills the air. The sounds of clanking armor embrace the chambered halls. Large plumes of smoke traverses the many flues within these enchanted surroundings. As she journeys through the large entrance, an eerie feeling tortures her senses once more. A dusty pathway appears as the hallway darkens as she approaches a narrowing path that has strange words inscribed upon the floor. "What is this place?" She wondered. Her crest awakens as she nears the odd wording that seems to be a message of some sort. Perhaps instructions on how to move along the dense pathways before her. A steady group of footfalls can be heard in the distance. She tries to speak and a stretched sound fights its way from her lips. "Hello?!" She creaked as her throat began to adjust to the air pushing out of her body. The footfalls stop abruptly. She gazes at the letters and a memory temporarily remembering the translation. "How long has it been since I've seen this and why am I remembering this now?!" She thought. A whirling sound slowly fills the sound as she is lost in thought. Just then, two beings seem to be walking towards her. An incantation of sorts can be heard in the distance. "Duck!"
