Chapter 46 - Lock and Load

Chapter 46: Lock and Load

Hacker was the one tasked to lead Earth while Queen Archandia and Zion went to the Forbes Wasteland to help Ian and James with their training. His first mission is to monitor the interstellar activity within their galaxy. He found something unusual - an unidentified flying object near the Cetris asteroid belt.

"I guess another trouble is approaching. I need to prepare the Archadians to defend," Hacker thought.

He called for a meeting with the Archadians in the conference room and relayed his findings. They were alarmed and they planned for a defensive strategy to protect Earth from invaders.

"Good morning, guys. I set this meeting because I need to discuss something urgent. This will be our first task defending Earth without Queen Archandia. We should be prepared. We don't know if they are allies or not," Hacker said.

"When will be their arrival, Aaron?" JackSpark asked.

"Based on their speed consistently, they will arrive here after two hours from now. We should go to Chicago now, they will be landing there. I will be monitoring the activity when they arrive, and you must confront them. I may hold you back when you engage in a fight with them," Hacker said.

"Okay, Aaron. Leave them to us," ShadowGirl said.

"Be careful, Steph. I... nothing, just get back here unharmed, okay?" Hacker was worried for ShadowGirl.

"I... will. Don't worry too much," ShadowGirl replied.

The Archadians left Queen Archandia's palace and went to Chicago to meet the interstellar creatures. They arrived in Chicago earlier than the creature. They saw a UFO and followed it to its landing spot. They waited for them to come out, and five creatures came out.

"Who are you, and why are you here on our planet?" SpecLady asked.

"Translation Activated," a mechanical voice interpreted the message of the invaders. "We are the Hexians. We are here not to cause any harm to your planet. We are seeking refuge because our planet was destroyed by our enemy. They are aiming to conquer all the planets in this dimension. Our Supreme Kai Janus would like to have a word with your leader."

"How are we gonna trust you that you're telling the truth?" JackSpark asked.

"You're invited to come inside our ship and see it for yourself," the mechanical voice said.

"Is this fine, Jack? Maybe this is a trap?" ShadowGirl whispered to JackSpark.

"There's only one way to find out, Steph. We must know their true intentions here. I should go inside their ship, and you wait for me here. Aaron's spy cam is set, so he can see what's inside and will inform you on what to do next," JackSpark answered.

"Okay, captain. Just be very careful," ShadowGirl responded.

Jack carefully entered the ship and was welcomed by a very gorgeous woman who looked similar to a human.

"Welcome to our ship, Mr. Stewart. I'm Pola. Follow me," Pola introduced herself to Jack.

"How did you know my name, Pola? And how did you know our language?" Jack asked.

"We have all the records of every Earthian, and we have translators on our minds that are very useful for communication," Pola answered.

Pola brought Jack to the trial room and said, "You need to surpass this trial in order to see Supreme Kai Janus. This trial has three stages wherein you need to defeat monsters in a certain stage. Stage one has average monsters, stage two has strong monsters, and stage three has a super monster. If you surpass two stages, you'll see our Supreme Kai. If you manage to beat all three stages, we will give you one of our legendary weapons, the Solaris. This weapon can kill super monsters and was made by a Titan named Draco."

"This seems interesting. Bring it on, Pola. Are you ready, Zeus?" Jack prepared for the first stage.

"Let's do it, Master," Zeus replied.

Jack was transported to a place where there were lots of huge sea monsters. He was instantly attacked by one of the monsters, but he used his shield to protect him. The monster that attacked him was too strong, and it plummeted him to the sea.

"They seem to be stronger than I've expected, and this is only the first stage. I need to think of a strategy to beat them all. How many are there, Zeus?" Jack asked Zeus.

"There are 20 in total, Master. Use me if you can't handle them," Zeus replied.

"I'll try to use my own strength before using you," Jack jumped out of the water and changed his weapon into an axe.

Supreme Kai Janus was watching his trial and was amazed by Jack's ability to change weapons.

"I guess he is worthy to wield the Solaris," Supreme Kai Janus thought.

Jack attacked and cut the ...cut the head of one of the sea monsters.

"One down, 19 more to go. They sure are hard to catch," Jack thought.

One of the sea monsters attacked him using its tail, but he was able to dodge. He changed his weapon into a bow and arrow and aimed for the heart of the creature. He successfully killed two sea monsters in just a few minutes.

"This is great, but I need to reserve my energy for the next stage," Jack thought.

The ten sea monsters attacked him with Hydro Pump, and he was hit by one of the sea monsters' attacks. He thought of a new strategy to eradicate the monsters at once and finally got an idea.

"I need you this time, Zeus," Jack said to Zeus.

"What's your plan, Master?" Zeus asked.

"I need you to power up my next strike with your electricity underwater. I will attract them in one area and focus the attack on that area," Jack told Zeus.

"That's a great idea, Master. I will lend you my first super thunder spell, the Lock and Load," Zeus said.

Jack attracted all of the remaining sea monsters and was able to gather them in one area. He changed his weapon into a spear while using the Lock and Load. Electricity coated his spear while Jack asked, "How come your thunder is not affecting me, Zeus?"

"My Master owns my thunder spells, you're my master, so you own my abilities," Zeus replied.

"That's great! Here they come, Zeus!" Jack said.

"Take this, you monsters!" Jack yelled.

Jack threw the spear with raging thunder right to the area, zapping all 18 sea monsters. He jumped out of the water, panting.

Jack stood up while saying, "Stage 1 done."

Pola appeared before him, a smile on her face. "Well done, Jack. You've passed the first stage. Let's see how you'll fare in the next two stages."

Jack nodded, determination in his eyes. "Bring it on. I'm ready for the next stage."

The scene shifted, and Jack found himself in a dark, eerie cave. The air was thick with an otherworldly energy.

"What's the objective of this stage?" Jack asked Pola.

"You need to defeat the powerful creatures that reside in this cave," Pola replied. "They are stronger than the sea monsters you faced earlier."

Jack readied himself, knowing that the next stage would be more challenging. Suddenly, three massive, shadowy creatures emerged from the darkness.

"These must be the strong monsters Pola mentioned," Jack thought, gripping his weapon tightly.

The creatures charged towards him, their movements swift and deadly. Jack prepared for battle, knowing that his skills would be put to the test.
