Kalel just stared blankly at the emperor, his brother.
He didn't feel anything.
And he was sure the emperor knew that.
He was the one who kept feeding me poison to kill my emotions, after all.
Kalel let Auro Moonchester do that because he also wanted his emotions dead.
Or else, he would have gone crazy already.
He would have frozen the entire world.
He would have killed himself.
It wasn't like he wanted to live— he had to because there were still things that he needed to do.
Unfortunately, the poison that Auro Moonchester had been feeding him were messing with his memories as well. That was the reason why he couldn't remember his purpose most of the time. Then it would take him time to remember everything again.
By the time his memories returned to normal, the preparations that he had prepared in advance had already disappeared.
Hence, he had to start from scratch.
