At the Park
(Hitoshi started listening to all of Nobita and Dekisugi's conversation.)
Dekisugi: "I know that you are hiding Doraemon in your storeroom."
(Nobita, shocked, asked, "How do you know that, Dekisugi?")
Dekisugi : So? it's true.....
Nobita: "Yes, it's true. Doraemon didn't go back to the future. He has some problems with his system."
(Then, Nobita explains what happened and starts crying.)
Dekisugi: "I know it because when I entered your house, i heard you talking to someone but i didnt see anybody and That's when I understood something is wrong."
(Hitoshi is standing nearby, listening to their conversation.)
Hitoshi thought to himself: "Who is Doraemon, and why is Nobita hiding him?"
Dekisugi: "I know why you're studying robotics and why you've changed. It's all because of Doraemon isnt it ?
Nobita: "Yeah...and I will work hard and make sure that Doraemon will be ok again. It's my promise to him, Dekisugi."
(Seeing the determination on his eyes dekisugi puts his hands on nobita shoulder while comforting him )
Dekisugi: "That's good. It's good that you're working hard to repair him. If you ever need help in any way i can , you can talk to me anytime."
Nobita: "Thank you, Dekisugi! Thank you very much."
(Nobita said this with tears in his eyes.)
(Hitoshi thinks to himself and runs off from the park.)
Hitoshi: "I need to find out who Doraemon is. I'll investigate first and then talk to Nobita. Looks like he's very close to him, so I'll keep it a secret for now."
The Next Day
At Nobita's House
Nobita's Mom: "Nobita, wake up! It's 8:30. You should have woken up by now!"
Nobita: "Just five more minutes, Mom! Please!"
Mom: "Wake up, Nobita! You'll be late for school!" (said in a loud voice)
Nobita: "Oh no, I'm going to be late for school!"
(Then Nobita wakes up, gets ready, and leaves the house at 8:45 AM.)
At Nobita's School
Nobita (shouting): "Hey, Megumi!"
Megumi: "Hello, Nobita! How are you?"
Nobita: "Megumi, thank you!"
Megumi: "Why are you thanking me, Nobita?"
Nobita: "Thank you for giving Shizuka the tickets."
Megumi: "No need to thank me. That's what friends are for."
Nobita: "Hey, let's wait for the others."
Megumi: "You know, Nobita, I used to feel shy every time I tried to make friends, but when I met you, I didn't feel that way."
Nobita (smiling): "Because we were supposed to be friends, and we know we are going to be friends forever."
Megumi: ".....Really,..Nobita?"
Nobita: "Yes, Megumi. I promise that I will always be your friend."
Megumi (smiling): "Thank you, Nobita, for helping me."
(Then Shizuka arrives.)
Shizuka: "Hey, how are you? Is no one else here?"
(Nobita and Megumi both say hi to Shizuka.)
Shizuka (in a low tone): "Hey, thank you, Nobita, for being my friend."
Nobita (in a low tone): "And thank you, too, for being a part of my life."
(After class, they all went to their homes.)
