There was an announcement. Someone was eliminated. So time certainly WAS passing… but checking her bracelet once again revealed that Kat certainly hadn't lost enough charge for it to have been more than twenty-four hours… but it was certainly more than twelve. Something weird and wild was going on that Kat really wished she didn't have to think about.
At least the lightning strikes had caused them no further issues, and the next time a scorpion attacked them Lily had been ready. Perhaps a bit too ready. As soon as the stinger popped up out of the ground Lily had torn off after it. For a moment, Kat thought her girlfriend had transformed into a jaguar, but no, she'd created one out of shadows, piloted it from the inside and then torn the scorpion to shreds.
