Hedera ended up going with Steel's house. Of course, that was only after she was about to choose the hotel and Kat decided to whisper exactly what it was usually used for. That turned Hedera right off the idea, especially when Steel admitted that none of the good enchanters wanted to work on the place for similar reasons so the noise suppression might not be the best.
Seeing that Hedera was a bit worried about staying at Steel's place, even if it was going to be empty and Steel seemed like a good person, Lily decided to stay there as well. It would give her a chance to catch up on at least some sleep, though unlike Hedera who planned to sleep through the entire day, Lily left an open offer to have whatever meals Kat was interested in together. As a cat, it was easy to be awake and aware and then go right back to sleep.
