After lunch they spent some time wandering around the city with Steel pointing out some notable landmarks. Some interesting things Kat made not of was that there didn't really seem to be any malls or big market areas. Instead, you had market streets with the shops on the bottom floor of a two or three story house. It was an interesting way of doing things and Kat supposed when you had the choice to work from 'home' it was best to do so.
There were a few exceptions of course. Steel showed off some of their farms and it really hammered home just how big the place had to be despite the dome. On the edge of the city was a big ring of farmland with an aqueduct setup that kept the whole thing watered. Apparently they pumped the water from the underground river up into the aqueduct at a few points where it could then just use gravity to water everything.
