'Isn't there hope?' Upon being asked this question, Balin began to ponder its implications. How could he still use his magic?
If the monster had a domain that encompassed all of its elements… Earth was definitely one of them and fire could be presumed to be one too. Was it impossible to conclude that it was a monster with mastery over all primary elements?
Following this train of thought, if both water and earth were one then why was he still able to control plants?
Granted, the element to control plants was a new elemental combination separate from its origins of water and earth. Something known as a pseudo-element. But pseudo-element was a combination that needed to happen somewhere.
In the case of most mages, they would handle elements within their own bodies. For its elemental lock to not affect his own body could only mean one thing.
All creatures had a domain specific to themselves and their elemental affinities.
