So she would go to their house today itself and come back after Weiwei's relatives left. It all worked out!
Su Shaoyan was a lot less enthusiastic at the prospect of having to spend a few days with his family, but he shrugged and said that the thought of the vacation would get him through it. Though he had not yet asked his parents, but he was one hundred percent sure they would have no problem.
"So when's your flight?" Shi Weiwei asked once they cut the call. 'Tomorrow evening at 4. What about you?' Xuan signed.
"It's tonight. And I'm panicking at the amount of packing I have left!" Weiwei exclaimed and Xuan burst out laughing. She finished laughing before she asked, 'Do you want me to help you with it?'
The next evening. . . .
Ying Xuan stretched as she waited for her suitcase at baggage claim with Ying Xi. As a fashion major, of course Xuan had put a lot of thought into her airport look. She was wearing a black fitted long-sleeved t-shirt paired with black cargo pants. She had on her basketball jersey over it and a backpack over her shoulder. Xuan really loved the college sport jerseys, they were white with two sky blue stripes around the v-neck collar and the sleeves. The logo of the college along with the player's name and number were printed on the back.
Xuan actually loved wearing Jingyu's jersey a lot more than her's. She always stole it from him and he had to beg for it back whenever he had a game. He had given up on wearing them for practices. Xuan had of course brought the jerseys with her, both of them had two, one for basketball and one for volleyball. She had actually thought about wearing Jingyu's jersey on the flight back, but she didn't think her father would take too kindly to that.
And she needed to be in his good books if she wanted his permission to go on that trip.
Xuan looked around suddenly when Ying Xi stooped down to get her own suitcase. If Xi's luggage was here, hers shouldn't be much behind, should it?
She was wondering when she suddenly received a call on her mobile. Xuan tilted her head as she pulled out her mobile. No one really called her, there was no point since she couldn't talk anyways.
Xuan's eyes lit up as she saw the caller ID. She immediately picked up the call and Wei Jingyu's face came into focus. "Hi darling. Did you reach home yet?" He asked, raking a hand through his hair.
Xuan pouted and flipped the camera to show that she was still at the airport. Jingyu made a sympathetic face as he said, "Aww shucks! You're still stuck at baggage claim?"
Ying Xuan saw that Wei Jingyu was sprawled on his bed as he set his phone down against the nightstand and flipped onto his stomach. He really looked quite handsome, with his open hair falling across his face like a curtain. They slightly swayed as he flipped his head to push them out of his light brown eyes. Eyes that looked like a freshly poured glass of whiskey, which were inviting Xuan to reach out and have her fill.
Ying Xuan pulled herself out of her thoughts as Jingyu blinked.
