I used to rule over this world, but now anything got torn to pieces.
Oh, my beloved family. They ripped my family from my hands and now act like as if it is destiny. I do not believe in destiny, and I will get my old life back even if it is the last thing I do! I will bend this so-called destiny to my will. My ancestors built everything up from ashes, what kind of a King am I, when I can't even protect it?
But I have to finish my work now. Oh, how I hate it! First living as a king, now working like a slave. At least I get enough food to survive.
Suddenly again I hear whiplashes from the log cabin, as I'm finishing these crops. You could even feel the pain in the screams, which ring right after each whip. My heart starts pounding, and suddenly a thought comes up to me. Since everyone thinks I died in the incident, I have to reclaim my crown as a new person! I need to get stronger, and tomorrow I'll sign myself up in the guild as a monster hunter.
As it is getting darker, we go in the cabin to get our daily salary, when the master decides to get rid of me. He thinks that I am not working good and hard enough. On second thought, maybe I shouldn't have laughed, but I just couldn't help it. As he gets angrier and starts whipping, I am walking over too my tools, while he is wondering why he can not hurt me. As I'm picking up a hoe, the master got scared and tried to run out of the cabin, but it was too late. I threw the hoe at him and hit him in his neck, which immediately killed him. The other workers were completely bluff and didn't know what to do, so they just looked at me, while I went to his treasure room, which was located outside the cabin, beside his big residence. I opened the doors, signalling the workers with pointing at the gold and nodding, that they should take some,so I grabbed myself a bag and went back inside the cabin to go to sleep, since I wanted to go away tomorrow anyway.
When the next day started, I found myself in an empty cabin, which I expected. As the sun fights his way through the thick curtain I get up, make myself ready by washing myself in the river next to the field and putting on my old and dirty clothes, which I need to get rid of and buy myself new clothes and gear, once I reach the main city "Utopis", where adventurer from all over the world gather up in the guild. So I tied my long and grey hair together to a ponytail, did some quick exercises to maintain my muscles and made my way to Utopis.
But little did I know, that the way to the city would be an adventure in itself...
