Derek held a small telescope in his hand, trying to get a better look at the man on the opposite side, but Charles had already shielded the man behind him.
"Derek, you've seen the person; now it's your turn to release someone," Charles said angrily.
"Fine, I'll release one first. Then you let my father go, and once we've safely left here, I'll release the other one," Derek proposed.
"No way, we agreed to release them together," Charles said angrily.
"It's either my way or I take these two people back with me, and we can negotiate again," Derek said firmly.
"Agree to his terms," Fu Hengyi commanded coldly.
"Alright, I agree," Charles shouted, pushing the man pretending to be Joseph towards Derek. Derek pushed Shen Qinglan, "You go."
Shen Qinglan remained still and looked toward Queen Adele, "Let the Queen go first."
