The upgrade effect of the Alchemy Workshop far exceeded Li Ang's expectations. Not only was the Forging Furnace upgraded to perfect quality, but three other devices of the same high grade were also added: an All-purpose Grinder, a Mechanical Workbench, and a Chimeric Beast Assembly Bench. These all fit very well with Li Ang's current power system. For instance, the Chimeric Beast Assembly Bench could be operated by the Brain Worm under supervision, allowing the Swarm to analyze the genes of other species and create new ones.
(Based on his personal moral standards, Li Ang wouldn't let the Swarm analyze humans... probably.)
With new toys at hand, it was natural to explore them thoroughly. Li Ang spent the next few hours studying the upgraded Alchemy Workshop, until a message from a friend came through.
Wu Dai: "Are you there?"
Liu Wu Dai? What does she want with me?
After thinking for a moment, Li Ang replied, "Yes."
