The van slowly came to a halt.
Ahead, on either side of the road, two streets appeared, forming a T-shaped intersection. Those two streets were also lined with dim streetlights. The further away the lights were, the dimmer they became, looking like a row of feeble candles that might go out at any moment.
Li Ang didn't choose to turn left or right. This was because a European-style three-story villa was quietly situated in the middle of the T-shaped intersection.
The villa was built of red bricks. Its walls were overgrown with vines that had long since died, its windows were dirty, and its roof tiles were covered in grime, appearing as though no one had tended to them in a long time.
