Xiaobao somehow made his way back onto He Jingyao's bed again, holding his feet with both hands, smiling and saying something to He Jingyao. He Jingyao seemed to be listening intently, with a warm, indulgent smile in his eyes.
The father and son nestled together, creating an indescribably warm and harmonious scene.
Zhixi suddenly felt a sting in her eyes and quickly lowered her head, suppressing the astringent feeling.
"Mommy is here!" Xiaobao suddenly exclaimed loudly.
Zhixi lifted her head, having already regained her nonchalant demeanor.
She walked over with a smile, pretending to glare at her son first, "Did you wake Daddy up?"
"I did not!" Xiaobao protested with wide eyes, "Mommy, I think you favor Daddy the most!"
In Mommy's heart, Daddy was always number one.
Xiaobao thought huffily.
He Jingyao raised an eyebrow and pinched his son's cheek, saying, "Right, your mommy loves me the most. Do you accept that?"
Xiaobao cried out in frustration.
