Zhixi was already highly tense, and this unexpected turn of events almost made her heart leap out of her throat!
She fiercely broke free, slamming the stall door shut and isolating the person on the other side!
"Miss Gu, it's me!" A low and melodious female voice came from outside the stall.
Zhixi felt bewildered; the voice was eerily familiar...
Before she could figure it out, a name slipped out of her mouth, "Lu Qixi?"
"Correct," the person responded.
Zhixi quickly pushed the stall door open, and seeing that it indeed was Lu Qixi, she was both exhilarated and incredulous, "What are you doing here?"
"Ning Yichen sent me. He's tied up right now, but he knew you were in danger, so he called me." Lu Qixi lowered her voice, looked around, and then slipped into the stall with her. "Miss Gu, we don't have much time; let's hurry and change clothes."
"What?" Zhixi instantly understood her intention and firmly refused, "No! I can't let you take my place!"
