He Jingyao put away his phone, walked over to He Yirong's hospital bed, sat down and picked up an apple, heedlessly starting to peel it.
"You don't like keeping me company, do you?" He Yirong glared at him. "Am I not your father? Do you understand filial piety?"
"I was still in bed cuddling with my wife when I heard you were sick. I came to see you right away," He Jingyao replied in a lazy tone. "Isn't that filial piety?"
"Your sister isn't as impatient as you!" He Yirong said displeasedly. "Daughters truly are more considerate!"
He Jingyao raised an eyebrow at him but pretended not to hear, handing him the unevenly peeled apple. "Here's your apple."
He Yirong frowned but still took a bite.
"Speaking of which, that kid… Xiaobao, right? Didn't you say he's your son? Why won't you do a paternity test? The more you refuse, the more I doubt you are deceiving me!" He Yirong looked at him with suspicion.
