At the hospital in Country M, Xiang Yiqing was lying on a chair outside the ward, just dozing off, when he was awakened by the ringing of his phone.
Groggily, he pulled out his phone and glanced at the caller ID. It was his father calling, so he answered and put the phone to his ear, "Dad."

Charles didn't know what Xiang Yiqing heard, but he saw him sit up nervously and turned to approach him.
