The main player army is still desperately sending their elite troops to fiercely fight against the sub-dimension Ogre player armies for military merits.
It's a good opportunity; fighting player armies gives the military merits of killing elite Ogre armies, so why not?
But all of this is built on the foundation of victory, and for rewards, both individuals and guilds ranking at the top want to crush the opposition to get rewards themselves.
Those with fewer military merits, though reluctant for the battle to end early, are also desperately earning military merits.
More importantly, until now, at least the players, even including the Ogre players, believed that this war was lost, but no one dared nor wanted to give up until the end.
They're not doing well yet, and the Ogre's hierarchical notions are even more severe; in the eyes of NPCs, they are new recruits, with no idea that the Ogre's higher-ups are filled with confidence and plan to launch a counterattack.
