The Grand Magician's face turned unsightly in an instant. Initially, he thought eliminating a new recruit would be as simple as squashing a small mouse.
Yet, when he personally acted, the opponent managed to escape, making the situation awkward, while the other leaders pretended not to notice.
The more this happened, the more frustrated the Grand Magician felt. The opponent was too weak; clearly, a touch of his skill would have been lethal. But after deploying a pet and still failing, where could he show his face?
Tongtong continuously released single-use fireworks, each burst darkening the Grand Magician's face even more.
"Prepare for battle!" the Grand Magician shouted as he watched the Worm Tribe nearing the ruins of the city wall.
"What are you all waiting for? The Bug Race Troops are almost at the city walls. Kill them!"
Someone shouted, breaking the main force out of their daze, reminding them of the current situation.
