He was glad to stay longer as he found out that his creatures were acting like a guardian of his Soul Palace. It was a surprise discovery since the Heavenly Soul Sutra didn't mention anything like that.
Another surprise discovery was the fact that his Soul Palace had its own will. That proved to be what happened to the demonic cultivators in the volcanic region and the chaotic region.
There were no creatures there, yet they were killed there without his interference. These demonic cultivators were at least True God Realms and were experts in Soul Technique.
There was no way they would die so easily after entering his Soul Palace by natural phenomenon. Since he didn't invoke his authority, it meant it was his Soul Palace that killed them. That was surely an interesting discovery that he needed to learn more about later on.
