While Clara was still busy with her sister, even ignoring her husband, a message notification popped up on her cell phone, showing a message from her brother that they had discussed earlier.
Clara frowned slightly when she saw the message notification.
"What is it?"
"Jacob," Clara said softly as she opened the message sent to her.
The message simply said that in two days, he wanted the whole family to gather at his house.
"Did you get a message from Jacob too?" At first, Marsha was about to shake her head, but shortly after, she received an identical message.
"Sir... Uh, is Jacob okay?"
Clara chuckled at Marsha, who was still unable to fully position herself as Jacob's sister.
"Not used to it yet?"
Marsha nodded awkwardly, her body language clearly showing her discomfort. Her hands busily rubbed the back of her neck, which wasn't itchy, and she moved stiffly, which she hadn't done when it was just the two of them.
