"Master wake up." ??
"Shiro wake up." ??
"Ughh..." Shiro.
Shiro slowly opened his eyes. He felt that familiar sensation of floating in liquid. He looked around the cabin from inside his pod and did not see any sign of people around.
"[What is this? I thought I heard some voices in my head]". Shiro.
He again tried to look around the cabin from inside his pod and did not see anyone.
"[Must be my imagination]". Shiro.
"Hmph, finally woke up huh." ??
"Master, it is not your imagination, we are indeed inside your head." ??
"[What? Someone is inside my head. What is happening? What does it mean? Get out!!! Get OUT of my mind right now!!!]" Shiro.
Shiro panicked and tried to speak but because he was inside a liquid filled pod and wearing a oxygen mask he could not speak. So he tried to shout in his mind.
"Master your heart rate is increasing please calm down and what you are asking is impossible." ??
"[I said GET OUT]". Shiro.
"You be quite! Shiro it is true that we are inside your head but we were put here by your parents. If you do not trust us please trust your parents." ??
When Shiro heard that the voices he was hearing were the works of his parents, he slightly calmed down . And when he calmed down he started to slowly remember things, which he did not want to remember.
"[My parents? That's right last thing I remember seeing aunt Mel's bloody figure, and she told me that uncle Sam and the others betrayed us. But that can't be right? Can it? But where is aunt Mel I have to talk to her and where are my parents? Are they alright? Why aren't they here? They were supposed to be here when I woke up. What happened to them?]" Shiro.
Shiro started to panic again. Then he heard the voices in his head again.
"Shiro it seems you have calmed down slightly. Do not think about your parents and the others for now. I am sure they are fine. Right now we need to focus on you. Do you understand?" ??
"[OK, I understand but later I do need some explanation.]" Shiro.
Shiro calmed down after listening to the voice.
"I do not know how much I will be able to help you as we are as clueless as you are about the situation outside this pod. But we can think about that a bit later OK?" ??
"[OK. Now that I've calmed down, why do I feel like my body shrunk considerably]". Shiro.
When Shiro thought that, he brought his hand in front of his eyes and saw that they are indeed smaller than what he remembered. Then he tried to feel his whole body but to his dismay it seemed like he indeed shrunk a lot.
"[What the hell, when did I become a child and how?]. Shiro.
"About that when master was sleeping after talking with Miss Melinda we felt huge amounts of energies in the surroundings of master's body. And some of those energies were invading your body and harming it. So we had no other choice but to start modifying your body so that those energies will not harm you." ??
"But as we were doing that we found that those energies were actually beneficial for the modified parts of your body. So we decided to completely reconstruct your body to suit the energy more. As a result your body shrunk a lot as a lot of materials from your body were used to strengthen your body also there were a lot of wasted materials such as damaged portion of your body due to your disease. By the way you are cured from the unknown disease you were suffering from. So we can say mission accomplished. Congratulations." ??
"Congratulations master." ??
"[What!! I am cured? You are not kidding right? I am really cured?]" Shiro
"No we are not kidding. You are now hundred percent cured." ??
"[So mom and dad succeeded. I really want to meet them now.] Shiro
"Unfortunately we do not know their current situation. We will probably meet them when we get out." ??
"[How was it that I was able to get better? Also we have been talking for so long but I do not even know who or what you guys are]" Shiro.
"Sigh, finally, you are asking something related to us. I thought you would never ask us." ??
"[So... sorry about that.]" Shiro.
"Before introducing ourselves let me tell you how you were cured. As you can see the pod you are in is filled with liquid. This liquid is full of nanites or nano robots or nanobots or nano machines what ever you want to call it. But we will call them nanites or nano machines" ??
"[So I was cured with those nanites?] Shiro.
"Don't rush, it's not that simple, if it were you would have been cured a long time ago. So let me finish." ??
"[Oo OK, please continue.]" Shiro
"As normal nanites could not cure you, as your body was simply dying slowly without any reason, and no matter how much your parents tried they simply could not make the nanites keep up with your dying cells. So they had to get creative. So when you were put into this pod they poured this liquid in the pod, right?" ??
"[Yeah, I do remember hearing them talking about pouring liquid in the pod.]" Shiro.
"So the liquid that was poured into your pod and in which you are currently floating, initially it contained three types of nanites. One of them is the general purpose nanite which keeps the liquid and you clean and also helps you heal minor external injuries. And the other two types comes as a set. These nanites were introduced into your body slowly over the duration of your sleep. One of the nanites are based on your cells, you can call them bio nanites. They are made with your cell and they are self replicating. Once they entered your body they attacked those dead and damaged cells and replaced them and improve them. And the other type of nanite is based on the general purpose nanite but far more superior. They do have limited self replicating capability but not as high as those bio nanites. Their main purpose is to maintain the communication between all the nanites existing in your body and repairing those part of your body that the other nanites can not. and to control all that a small basic Artificial Intelligence chip was put into your head controls.
