My name is Zephyr and the only family I know just Died last week, and that is my Mother, she died while finishing the quest, according to her quest group that time, the dungeon is about to close but one of the goblins his comrade spare to live just run and hit her with a poison arrow. They have no anti-dote and the healer they have is just a low rank healer.
Mother died before they arrive to the hospital, my mother is a mage and assassin type, this is the only thing she do for us to live. Now I can't do anything just to accept the fact that I need to do the same, but I'm an average person, I don't have special ability like my mother, I can't remember anything about my childhood so I don't know if I have powers or not. My mother never teaches me anything either.
Nympha is my childhood friend here in the neighborhood, and this is the first time she will enter a quest, we will do a lower rank dungeon, and according to the gatekeeper we need to finish it by killing the Rat queen, me and Nympha went to the group we designated.
In a dungeon the gatekeeper only allows 10 members of a group. Each group has a rank A leader and 3 rank B including a healer a marksman and a Tank. Then the rest like us are a random type with the lower rank, we are the support and a back-up of the team, we have no ability yet because we need to awaken it having experience in the quest, then we will go to the calibration society to check the rank and type we are.
This dungeon is the lowest rate, the pay is lower than the minimum wage, they explain to the reason is before we go to a highest pay dungeon, we need to rise up our rank. The gate keeper always explains this even we have most experience leader, the gatekeeper is the one who's responsible for the team, by the way, then every dungeon has 2 gatekeepers and each gatekeeper is a rank S, they need to ensure the safety of everyone. This town runs by guilds and we have 10 guilds, we are part of Web guild, which is designated to clear the lower portion of our nation.
We are about to enter now in the dungeon and I notice one of my team, He is a mage type and it's seems to nervous to enter, one of the rank B, yelled at him.
Hey, what are you doing? Are you going to continue or just run like a baby? Then I go to him and talk to him, hey buddy, common let's do this, don't worry according to the gatekeeper it's just rats and we have our mighty rank A that will help us to rise up our levels.
We get in and the 2 gatekeepers guard the gate, while we are exploring the dungeon, I talk to the nervous guy, hey my name is Zephyr, and you?
My name is Kuranzaki, this will be my first time here and I have no idea what should I do, actually I'm a mage type, I can cast magic spells but twice a day only. Hey my name is Nympha and I'm a fighter type. Lucky to you guys I said, now I'm confuse because I don't have magic and I have a normal body not like that member who is masculine, I bet he is strong. Then while we are talking and knowing each other, the rank B Marksman send a signal that the Rats are nearby, then we prepared for battle, a bunch of rats came out of the wholes in the wall and they are as big as ordinary dogs, they have sharp claws and teeth and glowing eyes, then we fight them, I have my wooden sword but it seems I can't totally harm them, then Kuranzaki is casting a spell but 2 rats shows in front of him, and he stop casting and shaking, the he run back to the gate, then the 2 rats follow him, I called Nympha for help and we follow Kuranzaki, then Nympha hit those rats with a wooden Baseball bat, then the 2 rats are fainted, I haven't kill any yet, when we help Kuranzaki to go back to our group, we saw how rank A and B fight, the Rank B Tank just guarding the rank B mage and Marksman, while the Rank A is just watching, we saw how they move and team up, I guess they don't need us.
Then the quest ends up and the queen rat killed by the marksman by her arrow straight to the heart. Then we came out with blood on all over us, Kuranzaki thank us, he said he is the weakest member of the group, I said, I haven't killed any, it's just when Nympha hit those rats their blood spilled to us. Then the 2 gatekeepers analyze and calculate the help we did and rank everyone of us of any help we did of course, then, finally the result came and I just get one silver and rank as 9th of the group, Nympha got 2 golds and rank as 5th of the group, Kuranzaki unfortunately is right, he just receive 5 bronze and rank as the least of the group.
Then the gatekeeper spoke, by tomorrow, you need to go to the calibration society to know your rank and type.
Hey Nympha your so strong, congratulations, hahaha, it's nothing said Nympha, she said" it's because I trained everyday you lazy ass", then Kuranzaki seems sad about the result, and I tell him, hey buddy it's okay, after we ranked tomorrow, the real quest will begin, so cheer up, we are almost the same result. The kuranzaki tell me that he will quit for a while to train harder, but he doesn't sure if he will join the same guild. Then our conversation end up, I went home and think, I laydown in my bed and think, I should train my body and mind, then I remember the room besides my mother room, it's been locked ever since, and my mother always tell me that I should never ever enter this room. I wonder what's inside of it. I already look to my mother's room and it's just ordinary.
Then it's 6:30 PM and I've decided to open it, I remember where my mother put the key for that room, I went to my mother's room and go underneath her Bed, I saw the small chest box, when I opened it, I was shocked, there's a letter from mom that I never expected. When I am about to open it the phone rings, and I immediately run to picked it up, it's Kuranzaki,

"Hey Zephyr, this will be my last day here in Orion, we will be moved overseas with my Family, they are so disappointed in me, tomorrow let us meet in the Calibration society, I will give you something." He added, I just said, sure Buddy.
I headed back again to moms room to check the letter, when I opened it, a bright light appeared and it was like a bunch of memories came inside my mind and I lost my consciousness, when I woke up, it's already morning and Nympha is calling again like crazy, I haven't yet read the letter, so I prepare my things and go with Nympha to calibration Society.
It's so weird that I remember my childhood, what happened and every detail of it is so fresh that it's like happened yesterday. It's like my body is so light and my mind is so clear, It feels good and theirs is one thing I remember when I was 6 years old, I accidentally freeze everything including mom that time and I was shocked, maybe this is my real power but I am confused what happened why all of the sudden I just remember it?
When we arrived at the Calibration Society, we saw Kuranzaki there waiting for us, "Hey buddy! How are you?" I asked, I'm good thank you Zephyr for asking. Here! "he gave me a Blue stone pendant, he said this is a symbol of our friendship, after the test they will fly overseas. We go inside, and it's Nympha's turn, her result is a fighter rank B, then Kuranzaki is a class C mage type, I was surprise on their result, when it's my turn, I hold the Cristal and nothing happens, we try several times and it wont react, the professor from the society check and hold the crystal, and it reacts, now they moved me to a different place, I told Nympha and Kuranzaki to go ahead and leave me, I just tell them that the crystal don't react on me. While walking, I heard the 2 doctor and the professor said that it's not normal, maybe I'm an ordinary person or out of this world. This is the second time it happened but they can't recall when. We moved to the second floor to use the ancient crystal and when I touched it, still nothing happens, then we moved to the head office to inform the president of the society about my case.
The president asks me, "so you are Zephyr, do you have any Idea what happened?" I answered, No! I don't have any idea. What suppose to be that means?
The president says, there are 2 things, you are a rare case that you don't have any rank or category and no type at all or you are not from this world" then he asks me, where are your parents?" and I answered, "my mother died last week due to dungeon tragedy, one of the goblin's poisonous arrow hit her and before he arrive to the hospital she was dead."
The president says, I'm sorry on what happened, your mother is a hero we respect that. So we have the record of your mother and the first test was the same but it's only a mistake, when she re-take and hold again the first crystal her result found that she is a Rank B Mage assassin type and a normal one, and no doubt that you are her son because you are look alike, so what happened? I suggest you try another quest next week and we will see what your result is.
So, I went straight to home and lie down in my bed, the phone rings, it's Nympha, "hey dummy, what s your result?" I replied, it was an error and I need to take another trial quest to see what my result is, maybe I have a little experience the reason why crystal don't move or do anything.
