Luckily Wulin didn't punch Xie Xie in the face yet the blood stained on Xie Xie cloth show how beat up in the fight against Wulin. As Wulin and Xie Xie enter the dormitory, Yun Xia gulps as for Zhou Zhangxi he asked Wulin "What happen to him?" while Yun Xia pulls his sleeve while shaking his head.
Seeing Yun Xia's action question mark jumping around Zhou Zangxi's mind, while Wulin glances at him coldly and said: " I beat him up. He injured me though."
The two look at Wulin from head to toes to see where had Xie Xie injured him, Seeing the two actions Wulin smiled as he helps Xie Xie lay down on his bed. Truth be told Wulin was not a type of person who bared grudge against others, as long as they provoke him and he beat them up everything will be passed.
As he finished helping Xie Xie on his bed Wulin rush toward the Canteen as he needs to eat. Wulin comes back a while later as he finishes his food and needs to get some sleep. As for cultivation screws that for now he needs to know what will the academy be teaching him so he can get on to create the plan for himself.
The next morning...
Wulin wakes up, gets down from his bed he stretches his body a bit. Wulin was impressed as he sees Xie Xie was still in meditation as he saw him doing that since last night. Wulin shakes his head while thinking " He hates to lose huh!"
After getting ready Wulin wake Xie Xie up as it's only an hour before class begins. Xie Xie awakes from his meditation and gets ready as Wulin waiting for him. The duo walks toward the canteen together and had light breakfast.
" Today officially marks the start of my class, as you already know most of your Class is taught by me Wu Zhangkong! Come with me." Wu Zhangkong speaks coldly.
Hearing this all the students get up on their feet and follow Wu Zhangkong. Wu Zhangkong brought them to the field while he divides them into two-row as their only 15 students in the class it quite easy makes them organize.
" Today you will need to show me your ability as I need to know what you can do and teach you accordingly." Just like that Wu Zhangkong starts to pair them up and let the winner duel against each other. Wu Zhangkong keeps silent for the whole time as he only announces the winner and starts the match.
As we expected Wulin come up on top of the class while Xie Xie ranks second. The two duels against each other but everything didn't go as expected as Xie Xie run around the whole time waiting for Wulin to be exhausted. Things not going as planned for Xie Xie as Wulin standing still the whole time waiting for Xie Xie to attack him.
Xie Xie's patience runs short he starts closing in to attack Wulin and yes Xie Xie was seen falling face down on the floor as somehow Wulin manage to trip Xie Xie. Wu Zhangkong announces Wulin as the Winner since the Agility Soul system got a trip by their opponent will only result in death if this was real combat.
"What's your feeling about this competition?" Wu Zhangkong asks coldly. All the students accept Wulin lower their heads thinking about their match yet Wu Zhangkong suddenly said: " Rotten wood cannot be carved! Yet even if you are trash I will take pride in recycles it to be something useful."
" This morning class will end here. Think about the battle early as for afternoon class I will teach you guy about theory and cultivation knowledge, class dismissed."
"Xie Xie! Tang Wulin! follow me." After saying this Wuzhang Kong start heading towards Academy building.
Xie Xie and Wulin follow behind him, Xie Xie suddenly pulls Tang Wulin shirt and asks " Do you think he giving us reward?" Hearing this Wulin shake his head while saying " Don't you heard what teacher said a moment ago? Rotten wood cannot be carved."
With Wu Zhangkong cultivation, of course, he heard the duo conversation. He smiles but the duos don't get to see it as his back facing them when he heard what Wulin said, he thought to himself what a smart kids.
Wu Zhangkong brought them to his office as he sits down on his chair he said " The trash I talked about early included you guy as well. Wulin you don't even give your all in the fight as you didn't even release your martial soul. Don't you know even Lion use all it's strength when caught a rabbit? And what with your hammer?"
In the fight, early Wulin uses his hammer as he too lazy to take them seriously so blowing them aways with a strike seems a bit more fun. Wulin lows down his head as he said: " I learn how to forge before."
Hearing this Wu Zhangkong raised his brow as he said " You a soul master yet you learn how to forge? Wasting time no wonder you still stuck in Rank 12."
Wulin raises his head as he looks at Wu Zhangkong in the eyes as he said " Teacher I come from a poor family, as I ate a lot more than normal people my parents had been struggling to even afford me food. 3 years ago I brought in a sister as well and just like me she ate no less than normal people either. I need to do something to lessen the burden for my family."
Hearing this Wu Zhangkong's face pale a little as he knows he went overboard with his word since he doesn't know Wulin had to go through this as a child.
For the very first time Wu Zhangkong said: " Sorry, I didn't know you go through such life." as he patted Wulin head.
He turned toward Xie Xie as he suddenly said " Are you feeling good to hide your twin martial soul? "
Xie Xie's face twitches as he replied " I didn't hide it, teacher, it's just I don't have a chance to use it as my second martial soul is a conceal daggers it's good for a sneak attack. Wulin also knows I had twin martial soul since I fought him yesterday. Oh, I also lost badly against him yesterday."
Wu Zhangkong faces twitching a bit as he still wonders about Wulin's full strength. "Back to business! Every academic years, the academy has a tournament called Class Promotion Tournament. The lowest class will challenge the higher class as we are class 5 the first challenge will be against class 4, and if you win you will challenge class 3 and so forth. The minimum participation for each class is two-person so you and Wulin were selected as a candidate for our class."
Waiting for Wulin and Xie Xie to digest what he just said for a while he then continues " From tomorrow onwards, outside of regular I will have you guy undergone special training with me every night. Your goal for the next 3 months should be promoting our class to Class 1."
Xie Xie can't help but ask " What if we failed to do so?"
" Hehe!" Wu Zhangkong laughed. Wu Zhangkong laughs with amusement yet Xie Xie filled a cold wind sweep past him. " You guy can go now don't be late for class."
