Wisteria's casual attack actually managed to injure the Impundulu Ventus and release its electric current form. The physical body of the Impundulu Ventus manifested and Frey's body then materialized from the Cosmic Prism World via a cosmic prism that Adrian had created. She proceeded to plunge her spear onto the back of the Impundulu Ventus as it was still able to turn its body.
The Impundulu Ventus did not lose consciousness from the sudden assault of opposing elemental damage which is why it was still able to slightly move its body to avoid the critical hit that Frey planned. Frey could be seen planted on the back of the Impundulu Ventus and it immediately started thrashing around.
