On a clear cloudless day, even in broad daylight, the floating ring-shaped structure could be seen from the ground of Mobra, high above the thick atmosphere. From this vantage point, because of the vast distance and the obstruction of the clouds, the Star Ring had lost its grandeur and shocking appearance, giving way to an elusive, almost illusory sensation. It was as if the Angel's Ring, shimmering with a silver-gray radiance, another world shining from the end of the sky, held a mysterious and eternal presence in the clear skies.
