Ten minutes later, there were two bowls of rice on the coffee table.
Ji Ming, with the tray tucked under his arm, turned to leave after receiving Song Baiyan's instructions. Just as he reached the door, he seemed to remember something, turned back and looked towards Song Baiyan: "Do you need me to make some juice for Miss Tang?"
Seated on the sofa, Tang Li replied before him: "There's no need for such trouble; if I'm thirsty, your gentleman will pour water for me."
Ji Ming lowered his head, trying to suppress a smile.
Song Baiyan, leaning against the desk, smiled upon hearing this: "Am I your nanny now?"
Tang Li glanced at him, then told Ji Ming: "Then help me make a cup of soy milk."
Before Ji Ming could nod in agreement, Song Baiyan dismissed him.
"What about the soy milk..." Ji Ming asked.
Song Baiyan: "There's a water dispenser in the office, the soy milk doesn't need to be brought over yet."
