Who knew that as soon as Xi Zhong's hand touched the monument, it was as if he had been electrocuted, and he quickly withdrew it.
His palm rapidly changed color, the skin turning a dark purple.
Seeing this, Xi Zhong knew something was seriously wrong. A surge of demonic power gathered into a blade, and with a "sizzling" sound, a large piece of flesh was sliced from his palm.
The chunk of flesh fell to the ground and instantly turned into a stinking pool of blood.
Yan Jiu watched and clicked his tongue in praise.
Ling Yue really is a divine figure, to have even guessed that Old Man Xi would attack him.
No wonder she mysteriously smeared poison on the monument before she left, saying this poison would cause any skin and flesh it touched to immediately rot to the bone, claiming it was her gift to that old clan leader of the South Nether Clan.
The monument is poisoned!
Xi Zhong almost lost his temper upon seeing it.
