Michel looked up, studying her guilty expression. "Does a teacher's failure really require a student to take responsibility? That's hardly fair."

Liz didn't speak.
"Lift your head, Liz."
Michel smiled, reached out, and patted her shoulder. "It's just one loss, don't take it to heart. The teacher lost a match, so why has the student become so dejected?"
He said, "Let's go back inside. The wind out here is too strong."
Liz nodded, pushed the wheelchair, and moved towards the open gate.
In his fatigue, Michel heard the Teenage Girl's words from behind him.
"Please entrust to me what the teacher couldn't finish."
In the silence, Liz quietly promised, "I will win. I'll keep on winning—until everyone knows that Lizard Eckmok's teacher is Michel."
Michel was stunned for a long time.
Then, he couldn't help but laugh.
