After Guding and Berg had killed six peak emperors, for more than half a month afterward, both the Insect Clan and the Heavenly Dao Alliance chose to avoid battle.
This was not unexpected for the Alliance Government.
The Insect Clan and the Heavenly Dao Alliance were well aware that without finding a solution to the problem posed by Guding, continuing the war would only serve to deliver food to Guding. On the battlefield, Guding had already demonstrated invincible combat power below the Supreme Realms, slaughtering several peak emperors in a day. If allowed to continue for a few days, Guding could singlehandedly wipe out all the peak emperors. Even if they eventually added a few more Supremes, it would be difficult to turn the tide of the battle.
Of course, although there was no battle, the humans were not idle. Meetings were held daily to discuss how the war should be fought in the future.
The members of the Guding Pirate Group also gathered at their stronghold.
