The monkey named Benny, with its beautiful golden fur, stood less than a meter tall. Yet, Guding felt that compared to a monkey, it resembled a human more—whether it was its walking posture, the expression on its face, or even the way it scrutinized him, all were indistinguishable from a human's.
After evaluating Guding, Benny turned to speak to Banbra.
"Is this the kid you told me about earlier? His cultivation is way too weak! Are you sure you want me to make a move? I could probably take him down in one blow."
"Try to go easy on him, please!" Banbra smiled reassuringly at Benny.
"Got it." Benny said, frowning slightly, "Could you step away from the battlefield a bit?"
"Sure thing!" Banbra jogged away and sat cross-legged in a corner of the arena, appearing genuinely cheerful.
Many others watching found this strange; they couldn't understand why a summoner would coax his own summoned beast in this way.
