"When my agent told me I had an audition for a movie, I really didn't expect it to be a Hollywood film. I was completely unprepared and super nervous; I was in pretty bad shape. So, after the audition, as soon as I stepped outside, I thought: that's it, there goes the opportunity I finally caught. But who knew, not long after that, my agent notified me that I got the role. After several months of preparation, "The Last Samurai" had officially commenced filming, and Fukada Kyoko had also come to Los Angeles.
