Summer Ford dragged her feet as she left the school, and casually hailed a taxi at the school gate, heading to the company instead.
Blocked at school, she could only temporarily return to the company.
Who knew that just as she reached the office door, the manager came over in a few steps.
"Summer, I'm sorry, there have been some personnel changes in the company these past two days, and you've been terminated."
"Why? What did I do?" Summer Ford slowly raised her face, wanting to reason with him. However, the person only mumbled back to her, "This is an internal decision of the company, I can't say more."
"But..." Summer Ford wanted to say something more, but the person turned and walked away.
Summer Ford was not someone who clings desperately. Even though she felt there was definitely something wrong with this situation, she still packed her things and left.
Suspended from school, and terminated from the company, in one day, Summer Ford faced two obstacles.
