"Miss Ford, would you like to join us?" Esther Shaw looked at her, smiling as she extended the invitation.
Summer Ford glanced at Raine Sullivan beside her, stood up, and politely declined, "No, ma'am, you go ahead. I've already prepared my lunch."
"Just like that!" Esther Shaw glanced at her instant noodles and frowned slightly.
"I have a lot to deal with later, so I want to finish quickly to get back to work," Summer Ford replied politely.
"What is there to do?" This time, it was Ethan Laurent who took the conversation.
He hadn't assigned her any tasks, so what could she possibly have?
Summer Ford just gave him a faint look, with no extra expression on her face, "School matters."
That one sentence left Ethan Laurent speechless.
Ever since she left Central City, she hadn't been back to school. By now, there's bound to be a lot to catch up on.
"In that case, let's be off then!" Esther Shaw withdrew her gaze and walked ahead, entering the elevator alongside Caden Laurent.
