Jasper Sheridan looked up and leisurely replied, "I indulged it."

Feeling uncomfortable being stared at by a group, Summer Ford didn't want Ethan Laurent to misunderstand either, so she pulled out a chair and stood up, walking toward him without waiting for Ethan to speak again.
She entered the room ahead of him, picked up cups from the coffee table, and, in a very hospitable manner, made him a cup of tea and handed it over.
