Summer Ford acted as if she hadn't seen him, trying to go her own way, but was blocked by Ethan Laurent.
Summer glanced at the entrance of the elevator, where someone might appear at any moment, then looked at the nearby main door. Not wanting anyone to see them together, she pushed him, "Move aside!"
Her tone was a bit forceful, as if she was somewhat exasperated.
"Who are you talking to?" Ethan Laurent swept a cold gaze over her, his expression as icy and ruthless as ever.
Summer was taken aback, realizing what she'd just said, she softened her attitude and quickly changed her tone, "There are a lot of people here. If someone gets the wrong idea, could you please move aside?"
Her words were sincere enough, almost verging on a plea. Summer felt like she was becoming a ninja turtle today.
"Is it really bad if someone sees us?" Ethan Laurent pressed her into a corner, his arms caging her in.
